With strong teams and a commitment to continuous improvement, Humber River Health continues to deliver Tomorrow’s Healthcare, Today.\nWe currently have an exciting opportunity for a Regular Full time Groundskeeper to join our Maintenance and Engineering team.\nHiring Salary: $29.782- $31.062\nReporting Relationship: Project Director, Planning\nHours of work: Days Monday-Friday - 07:30 to 15:30 hrs.\nEmployee Group: NOWU Location: All sites.\nPosition Responsibilities:\nMows lawns with either a push or driver mower.\nEdges grass with gas powered trimmer.\nPrunes trees and trims hedges.\nCollects and disposes of clippings, branches, and other foliage.\nEmpties exterior garbage receptacles.\nWeeds and thins flower beds.\nCleans and sweeps garbage at entrances and parking lots.\nMaintains all equipment in a safe and good working condition.\nParticipates in departmental training programs.\nEnsures personal protective equipment is properly maintained and utilized.\nWorking as part of the grounds keeping team.\nSnow removal of emergency exits\nPlant and maintain flower beds\nAssist with stock inventory\nPower wash entrances \nComputer knowledge of CMMS (work orders)\nRiding Lawnmower experience would be an asset\nRequirements:\nGrade 12 or equivalent.\nAbility to read, write and speak English fluently.\nPrevious grounds keeping experience preferred.\nA valid Ontario driver’s license required.\nAbility to lift heavy objects.\nAbility to push and pull lawnmower.\nAbility to stoop, kneel, crouch and crawls when caring for lawn, shrubs and flowers.\nAbility to stand for long periods of time.\nWorks mainly outside.\nWorks with all proper personal protective equipment including but not limited to, safety (greenpatch) boots, hearing protection, safety glasses, and gloves.\nAbility to maintain (visually inspect) all landscaping equipment and keep an update maintenance equipment log book.\nExcellent attendance and discipline free record required\nWhy choose Humber River Health?\nAt Humber River Health, our staff, physicians, and volunteers are delivering Tomorrow's Healthcare, Today.
