The Associate Manager, Enterprise Operations will be responsible for team productivity, troubleshooting questions, and answering uncommon inquiries. The ideal candidate will be comfortable navigating intricate proposal processes, interpreting financial documents, and working cross-functionally with departments such as Sales, Finance, Legal, and Product. This role requires a strong balance of writing, critical thinking, and analytics to ensure responses are not only compliant and well-written, but also strategically sound and financially accurate. The Associate Manager, Enterprise Operations adheres to quality standards and process improvement initiatives to achieve best practices, may make recommendations to solve problems and issues related to business operations and prepare complex financial analysis, and reporting. Adheres and follows company and division organizational policies and procedures.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nDaily management of the Enterprise Operations Team. Responsible for planning and directing the work of Analysts and team as well as monitoring results.\nRecognizes, understands and resolves issues or inquiries that arise in the day-to-day operations\nEnsure the processes and procedures are followed and systems are utilized across the department.\nResponsible for interaction with functional peer groups as well as management to provide updates, recommendations and presentations as needed.\nAdditional functions included but not limited to: hiring, coaching, training, disciplining and termination of employees.\nParticipates in special projects and performs other duties as required.\nEducate team members to understand the relevant teams, to gather necessary information and to determine the technical, operational, and financial components of the proposal\nLead the team in preparing high quality, persuasive and responsive proposals that are presented clearly and concisely, highlighting the strengths of the organization\nDevelop and analyze pricing and financial models, including 'what-if' scenarios, evaluate trade-offs, support strategic decision-making, and inform future business planning through integrated financial insights and justifications while ensuring compliance with all requirements and submission deadlines\nLeads high-value, high-complexity RFP responses independently while providing strategic guidance on proposal positioning and messaging.\nMaintain and optimize a centralized content library; analyze RFP processes and outcomes to identify and implement efficiency improvements, automation opportunities, and strategies to increase win rates\nMaintain and communicate a consistent RFP response process to all team members\nMonitor performance metrics to identify areas for improvement\nSPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:\nProven track record for leading projects\nProficient in Microsoft Excel\nExcellent understanding of business math\nDemonstrated ability to mentor/advise team members\nAnalytical and organizational skills\nProficient in MicroStrategy Data Warehouse\nExperience with CRM tools (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics…)\nAbility to effectively communicate with sales team (proactive) and upper management\nKnowledge of key terms in RFP’s and legal agreements\nGENERAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:\nStrong management skills and ability to attract, retain, motivate and develop team members for high performance\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to resolve disputes effectively\nStrong presentation and public speaking skills\nStrong decision making, analysis and problem solving skills with ability to multi-task\nUnderstand and act on financial information that may contribute to business profitability\nAbility to manage successful projects, manage risks, costs, time and project teams\nLead team to achieve company goals in effective ways\nStrong planning and organizational skills and techniques\nCommunicate effectively with management\nGood negotiating skills\nBuild relationships, understand organizational complexities and manage conflict\nBroad professional and managerial skills with an understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures\nMINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:\nTypically 7 or more years of increasing responsibility and complexity in terms of any applicable professional experience; first-level manager.\nPREFERRED EDUCATION:\nTypically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline. Master's degree or global equivalent a plus.\nTRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nTravel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.\nThe posted range for this position is $87,547 to $136,792 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role.
