The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing and a proven track record of leadership and operational excellence. This position will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant production of high-quality dental and medical devices.\nThe role will drive a culture of operational excellence that will positively impact safety, quality and service improvements while reducing cost through various CI techniques including Lean. As a strategic location for manufacturing investment the role will drive site growth initiatives and investment strategy execution.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nResponsible for the strategic growth of the manufacturing facility, working in partnership with business partners and Henry Schein Manufacturing global organization to support business growth and supply chain excellence.\nResponsible for planning strategic investment at the site to enable growth and future manufacturing initiatives. Presenting business cases to drive investment.\nSite oversight for Production and Operations Management:\nDirect site leadership and teams on production output, product quality, and on-time shipping in a metric driven operation\nEnsure all manufacturing activities comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), FDA regulations, and other relevant industry standards.\nDesign resource allocation effectively to achieve production goals.\nBuild the organizational capabilities and the talent to support business requirements, both for today’s needs and forward looking forward to future projected growth\nFoster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.\nDevelop and manage the plant's budget, including labor, materials, and operational expenses.\nIdentify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or safety.\nPrepare and present financial and operational reports for leadership.\nWork closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure all products meet or exceed regulatory and customer requirements.\nLead and participate in regulatory audits and inspections.\nSPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:\n12+ years of experience in regulated manufacturing, supply chain operations.\nAble to manage relationships across a matrix reporting structure\nProven leadership and management skills in a high growth and dynamic environment\nProven ability to lead and drive change in a dynamic business environment\nRecord of successfully introducing and implementing strategic initiatives in a manufacturing/supply chain environment preferred\nBudgeting and forecasting experience required\nAnalytical skills for data review and process optimization\nGENERAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:\nExcellent management and leadership skills and ability to attract, retain, motivate, develop and mentor team members for high performance\nOutstanding verbal and written communication skills and ability to resolve disputes effectively\nOutstanding presentation and public speaking skills\nOutstanding independent decision making, analysis and problem solving skills\nUnderstand, interpret and act on financial information that contributes to business profitability\nAbility to plan and manage complex and successful projects; understand available resources, develop timeline, budget and assign areas of responsibility\nLead teams to achieve company goals and solve complex business issues in creative and effective ways\nOutstanding planning and organizational skills and techniques\nCommunicate effectively with senior management and key stakeholders\nStrong negotiating skills and ability to effectively manage internal and external relationships\nAbility to influence, build relationships, understand organizational complexities, manage conflict and navigate politics\nBroad and wide-range of professional and managerial skills with a full understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures\nAbility to lead and develop virtual teams\nOutstanding in multiple technical and business skills\nMINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:\nTypically 10 or more years of increasing responsibility and complexity in terms of any applicable professional experience; 3 or more years of management experience.\nPREFERRED EDUCATION:\nTypically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline.
