Cyber Security Architect role is primarily responsible for designing, building, and maintaining secure data, systems and applications.\nThis position plays a significant role in contributing to controls.\nThe role will report to the Senior Cyber Security Architect.\nThe main duties and responsibilities include:\nDesign a robust security system to protect the company’s computer systems and networks from threats\nDesigning robust security architectures for IT projects, including M&A activities\nDeveloping and maintaining security standards, and guidelines\nConducting system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments\nIdentifying integration issues and develop solutions to these issues\nEnsuring the architecture and security systems align with the business’s goals and requirements\nResearching, designing and advocating new technologies, architectures, and security products\nEnsuring compliance with the changing laws and applicable regulations\nParticipating in Incident Response and Forensic investigations\nWorking with IT department and members of the information security team to design, implement, manage, and report on, the effectiveness of security controls\nStaying up to date with the latest security systems, standards, authentication protocols, and products\nPlan and implement security measures to protect sensitive data and systems from infiltration and cyber-attacks\nDesign and implement user identity access management systems\nEvaluate new cybersecurity threats and IT trends and develop effective security measures\nWork very closely with infrastructure and application teams to secure Henry Schein systems and data\nKey roles for the position:\nTechnical oversight: responsible for providing security personnel with technical guidance and supervision.\nCreate proper documentation: plan, investigate, and build reliable, powerful, and flexible security architectures.\nOwn security architecture and controls’ framework: Planning, studying and then designing a resilient security architecture, and developing prerequisites for networks, firewalls, routers, and other network devices\nAwareness: work closely with the rest of the information security team to identify improvements and remedies based on vulnerability assessments, security testing, risk analysis, as well as internal and external audit findings\nResearch: researching and implementing the updated security standards, systems, and best practices\nRequirements:\n5-10 years of security experience\n5-10 years of experience as a Security Architect or similar role\nExperience in cloud platforms, risk assessment tools, identity management and data encryption\nKnowledge of network security architecture concepts, including topology, protocols, components, and principles\nUnderstanding of advanced threat detection and network protocols\nProficiency in security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, and content filtering\nKnowledge of disaster recovery, computer forensic tools, technologies, and methods\nKnowledge of industry-standard and organizationally accepted analysis principles and methods.\nExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure\nA bachelor degree in computer science, Information Technology or relevant field\nHenry Schein,
