This role manages service requests from initial intake through scheduling and dispatch, prioritizes emergency service needs, and coordinates closely with technicians, customers, sales and field management to support timely and effective service delivery. The Service Coordinator also monitors service activity and communicates updates and issues to the appropriate stakeholders.\nWork Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:30AM - 5:00PM Pacific Time. \nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nCreates work orders, scheduling and dispatch technicians for equipment service, or emergency repairs for customers. \nPartners with the District Manager regarding scheduling practices, including attending service planning meetings.\nReceives high volume of telephone calls and emails from sales, service, technicians, field management, and customers.\nAnswers general questions from customers about equipment and service. Reroutes calls as necessary to the correct departments, and tracks calls appropriately.\nSchedules service calls with technicians and maintains frequent communication throughout the day to help plan and organize their time.\nDetermines which calls require troubleshooting, based on predetermined call type selection\nReviews open work orders to ensure they are assigned to a technician.\nParticipates in special projects and performs other duties as required\nProvides feedback to leadership regarding observations related to on time arrivals, reschedules, repeat job visits, and job refusals. \nParticipates in special projects and performs other duties as required.\nSPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:\nAbility to manage a high volume of emails and telephone calls.\nGENERAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:\nStrong time management skills and the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines\nVery good attention to detail and accuracy\nCustomer service oriented and the ability to work with complex issues\nAbility to plan and arrange activities\nVery good interpersonal communication skills\nVery good written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to maintain confidential and highly sensitive information\nAbility to work in a team environment\nAbility to multi-task\nAbility to manage conflict\nCapacity to work effectively under pressure\nEstablish productive working relationships at multiple levels within the organization\nMINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:\nTypically 3 or more years of related experience.\nPREFERRED EDUCATION:\nTypically High School education, vocational training and/or on-the-job training. Bachelor’s degree preferred.\nTRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nTravel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.\nThe posted range for this position is $37,735- $58,962 annually which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to be fully proficient in the role.
