Provide recommendations to management, based on sound financial understanding of each P&L, balance sheet and cash flow effect on business decisions\nResponsible for the budgeting and forecast preparation and drives continuous improvement of forecast quality and financial performance through coordination with business leaders on financial issues impacting their budgets. Reviews and reports projections of sales and profit against actual figures, budgeted expenses against final totals and investigates variances to determine their underlying business causes. Suggests and assists in the implementation of methods to improve the financial performance of the business.\nProvides timely and accurate analyses of budgets, financial reports, and trends to assist Business Leadership in decision-making. Proactively identifies root causes, trends, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions for management.\nManages the preparation of all financial reports and financials closes, including income statements, balance sheets, reports to stakeholders, KPIs, reporting and understands activities behind the numbers to drive appropriate business decisions. Ensures all financial reporting is consistent with proper accounting and regulatory requirements.\nOwn and evaluate cost accounting and product costing to ensure inventory values, margins, and COGS accurately reflect the business. Analyze key cost drivers and variances, including material, labor, overhead, inventory, and purchase price, and work with Operations and Supply Chain to address issues.\nOversees financial and management reporting across business units to ensure accuracy.\nProvide oversight of financial modelling to support pricing, investments, hiring, capital expenditures, product initiatives, operational changes and organic and M&A growth opportunities.\nProvide financial oversight of AP, AR, billing, collections, and related activities ensuring appropriate controls and accountability.\nOwn the Finance and Accounting workstream for ERP implementation, including requirements, process design, controls, testing, and implementation readiness.\nParticipates in special projects and performs other duties as required.\nSPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:\nExperience working in a global, matrixed organizational structure.\nUnderstanding of GAAP\nERP implementation experience required; NetSuite experience strongly preferred.\nStrong commitment to financial accuracy and data integrity is required\nSignificant experience in product development, product launch and product lifecycle management\nMastery of financial management and reporting requirements associated with HCP KOL partnerships\nUse skill and influence to develop company objectives and principles and to achieve goals in creative and effective ways\nProject management, consultative skills and ability to manage a budget\nAbility to cultivate and develop lasting internal and external customer relations\nGENERAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:\nExcellent management and leadership skills and ability to attract, retain, motivate, develop and mentor team members for high performance\nOutstanding verbal and written communication skills and ability to resolve disputes effectively\nOutstanding presentation and public speaking skills\nOutstanding independent decision making, analysis and problem solving skills\nUnderstand, interpret and act on financial information that contributes to business profitability\nAbility to plan and manage complex and successful projects; understand available resources, develop timeline, budget and assign areas of responsibility\nLead teams to achieve company goals and solve complex business issues in creative and effective ways\nOutstanding planning and organizational skills and techniques\nCommunicate effectively with senior management and key stakeholders\nStrong negotiating skills and ability to effectively manage internal and external relationships\nAbility to influence, build relationships, understand organizational complexities, manage conflict and navigate politics\nBroad and wide-range of professional and managerial skills with a full understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures\nAbility to lead and develop virtual teams\nOutstanding in multiple technical and business skills\nMINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:\nTypically 10 or more years of increasing responsibility and complexity in terms of any applicable professional experience; 3 or more years of management experience.\nPREFERRED EDUCATION:\nTypically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in Finance or Accounting. MBA is preferred.\nTRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nTravel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.\nThe posted range for this position is $126,625 to $158,282 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role.
