As necessary, works with staff to complete departmental workload.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nResponsible for ensuring that the daily work for the department is completed in a timely and efficient manner. Packing responsibility would include ensuring hazardous materials are properly packaged in appropriate plastic bags/boxes in appropriate position for shipping. Oversees that products are shipped appropriately by weight/gallon and other restrictions. Assure smooth operation in print room.\nSupervises the Picking and or Packing department, hires new team members, conducts performance reviews, recommends increases, monitors attendance and responsible for early stages of conflict resolution.\nTracks daily, weekly, and monthly hour usage and work completing levels to meet or exceed established budgets. Researches, identifies, and corrects issues that cause inefficiencies in productivity and accuracy.\nTracks and prioritizes daily orders by division and ship code to ensure all are completed in a timely manner.\nResponsible for maintaining a complete understanding of all functions, computer screens and reporting.\nMaintains awareness and understanding of how the department impacts customers, both internal and external, and the department’s overall impact on the operation.\nAs necessary, works with staff to complete departmental workload. The posted range for this position is 65,767.00 - 98,650.00, which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role.
