The role translates approved engineering information into controlled product baselines to support efficient, compliant and cost-effective production.\nQualification and experience:\nMinimum Advanced Diploma/BTech in Electronic Engineering or a related qualification.\nMinimum 7 years’ experience within a military electronics environment, preferably in industrialisation, production engineering or a related technical role.\nPractical experience working with electronic product structures, manufacturing processes and engineering data in a production environment.\nExperience using ERP systems within a technical or manufacturing environment.\nKey technical skills:\nERP Part Master Data Administration\nBill of Materials (BOM) Creation and Maintenance\nProduct Structure Management\nElectronic Product Industrialisation\nManufacturing Process Development\nTechnical Master-Data Management\nPart Numbering and Naming Conventions\nManufacturing Routing Development\nAssembly Standard-Time Analysis\nEngineering Change Implementation\nPCB Component and Assembly Structures\nComponent Lifecycle and Obsolescence Management\nRoHS and REACH Compliance\nEngineering Drawing and Technical Documentation Interpretation\nQmuzik, Altium Vault and Microsoft SharePoint or Similar Systems\nKey responsibilities:\nProduct Industrialisation and ERP Setup\nEstablish product master data, BOMs, product structures, part numbers, manufacturing routings and assembly standard times within the ERP system to translate approved engineering data into controlled manufacturing information, resulting in complete and production-ready product baselines.\nProduct Structure and Configuration Control\nVerify and maintain product structures, Part Master records, component statuses, supplier information and approved engineering changes throughout the product lifecycle to align ERP data with authorised configuration requirements, resulting in accurate, current and traceable product information.\nComponent Compliance and Lifecycle Management\nEvaluate and maintain component and PCB information against obsolescence, RoHS and REACH requirements to identify and address component-related risks, resulting in compliant product structures and improved continuity of production supply.\nIndustrialisation and Engineering Readiness\nCoordinate industrialisation readiness reviews with CAD, Engineering and relevant technical stakeholders to verify documentation, resolve discrepancies and capture approved changes before production implementation, resulting in complete and accurately industrialised product information.\nManufacturing Operations and Standard-Time Verification\nAnalyse and maintain manufacturing operations, routings and assembly standard times against actual production performance to identify variances and implement justified adjustments, resulting in reliable production planning, costing and operational standards.\nOur recruitment values:\nHENSOLDT South Africa focuses on diversity, equity, and inclusion in our organisational strategy.
