A close liaison with Sales, Contracts, Engineering, Systems Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Customer Services, Quality and Accounting departments within the Company will be required to fulfil this task.\nResponsible For\nProject Management of NL MoD Defence Projects in alignment with overall HENSOLDT Group\nLiaison with customers to ensure the finished product meets the customer requirements.\nIdentification of areas at risk in project execution and implementation of measures to reduce these.\nLiaison with all other departments within HENSOLDT and sub-contractors, to ensure efficient development and production of equipment to customers’ requirements and delivery to agreed timescales.\nReporting of general progress and financial status of projects managed on a monthly basis.\nPrepare financial data in an agreed format for presentation on a monthly basis to the board of directors and other senior members of staff.\nExport compliance for equipment being delivered in accordance with appropriate guidelines\nJob Functions\nAssist Sales and Marketing in the preparation of bids for projects requiring customer funded development work.\nEstimate project management costs for inclusion in bids.\nReview allocated incoming contracts to ensure project is feasible before final signature of contract.\nAccept signed contract from Sales department for execution.\nPlan execution of project, liaising with the customer as necessary to refine detail of requirement. Liaise with sub-contractors regarding their part in project execution.\nReview estimates of project costs and propose internal budgets for project execution.\nCommunicate project details and initiate project activity by departments throughout HENSOLDT.\nMonitor project progress against project plan and project spend against budget. Maintain an up to date forecast of costs to complete. Take corrective action to minimise overrun and overspend.\nReport project progress and financial status on a monthly basis.\nLiaise with customer as necessary during project execution. Organise meetings with customer and report project progress to customer as required by contract.\nManage the project scope with the customer and lead/co-ordinate contract changes throughout the execution phase of the project as required.\nCoordinate arrangements for Factory Acceptance Test of deliverable equipment.\nCoordinate arrangements for despatch/ delivery of equipment.\nCoordinate arrangements for installation, commissioning and trials of equipment if required by contract.\nAttend weekly Production/ Purchasing/ Shipping reviews to agree actions and maximise timely output.\nProvide monthly forecast revenue numbers for business for all single line orders.\nTravel within the Netherlands and overseas may be required, and is considered an occasional feature of this role.
