The successful candidate will ensure effective knowledge transfer, operational competence, and sustainment of HENSOLDT GEW products and systems throughout their lifecycle while supporting customer readiness and organisational capability.\nQualifications and experience:\nNational Higher Diploma or BTech in Electronic Engineering (Light Current) or Mechanical Engineering.\n\nFormal qualification in Training and Development, Adult Education, Instructional Design, or a related field would be advantageous.\n\nMinimum 10 years' experience following attainment of the first technical qualification.\n\nMinimum 4 years' experience within a technical training environment.\n\nExperience in the operation, maintenance, or support of Electronic Warfare (EW), SIGINT, or related electronic systems.\n\nExperience in technical writing and the development of technical documentation would be advantageous.\n\nExperience within the aerospace, defence, military, or related high-technology industries.\n\nOperational experience in the deployment and maintenance of land-based EW systems would be advantageous.\n\nKey technical skills:\nOperation, maintenance, and repair of electronic systems and subsystems.\n\nElectronic Warfare (EW), Signal Intelligence (SIGINT), and related technology domains.\n\nProduct Lifecycle Support and Integrated Logistics Support principles.\n\nTechnical documentation development and management.\n\nTraining Needs Analysis (TNA).\n\nCurriculum development and training programme design.\n\nDevelopment of learner guides, facilitator guides, assessment guides, and training manuals.\n\nInstructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.\n\nAssessment design and learning evaluation techniques.\n\nTechnical training delivery across multiple audience levels.\n\nDevelopment and management of training plans and schedules.\n\nTechnical presentation and facilitation techniques.\n\nTraining administration and certification management.\n\nMS Office Suite.\n\nMicrosoft Visio.\n\nLearning and documentation development tools.\n\nTechnical publishing and document management systems.\n\nKey responsibilities:\nInstructional Design and Training Material Development\nDesign and develop technical training programmes, curricula, assessments, manuals, and learning materials based on product requirements and training needs analysis to ensure effective knowledge transfer and competence development for internal and external stakeholders.\n\nTechnical Training Delivery\nFacilitate technical training on HENSOLDT GEW products, systems, operation, maintenance, and support activities across varying audience levels to develop operational capability and ensure effective system utilisation and sustainment.\n\nTechnical Documentation and Knowledge Management\nDevelop, maintain, and coordinate technical documentation, including operator manuals, maintenance manuals, illustrated parts catalogues, and logistics support documentation to ensure accurate product knowledge, operational support, and compliance with customer requirements.\n\nTraining Coordination and Administration\nManage training plans, schedules, delegate coordination, certification processes, and training records to ensure efficient execution, governance, and traceability of all training activities and outcomes.\n\nTraining Support, Continuous Improvement and Project Execution\nSupport project, product support, and business objectives through training proposal development, effort estimation, process improvement initiatives, and collaboration with engineering and project teams to ensure high-quality training solutions and continuous enhancement of training effectiveness.\n\nOur recruitment values:\nHENSOLDT South Africa focuses on diversity, equity, and inclusion in our organizational strategy.
