This position will support the management of comprehensive complex categories by analyzing, reporting and researching internal and industry trends, maintaining database information and executing tasks and projects in an efficient and timely manner.\nHOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE:\nDirect responsibility for 1-2 low-complexity categories.\nSupport achievement of Herbalife’s objectives to ensure Supply, Science and Safety.\nInitiates and executes category analysis independently and builds holistic category strategies.\nDesign, manages and executes RFx including identification of vendors, proposal analysis and contract negotiation.\nLeverage a strategic sourcing approach to drive best in class solutions with corporate and functional objectives.\nLead design and execution of projects in an efficient and timely manner; achieves timeline and desired results by effectively and efficiently prioritizing tasks and projects.\nTrack, monitor, analyze and report pricing to cross functional departments and leadership.\nMaintain sourcing database(s) to ensure reporting is accurate; review and analyze reporting.\nApply basic economic principles and common sense to business opportunities.\nExpeditiously resolve the needs of the customer and support supplier relationships.\nEnsure compliance to company purchasing/procurement policies and procedures.\nWHAT’S SPECIAL ABOUT THE TEAM: The Global Product Sourcing team is newly rebranded and reorganized to leverage global category management and category expertise.
