Sr Product Manager
What's the role?
You will shape the platform that enables how HERE products are delivered, configured, and consumed at scale. This is not about building maps. It is about building the platform behind them.
In this role, you operate at the intersection of platform and product, acting as the bridge between Automotive, Maps and Services, Enterprise, and engineering teams. You will help create an internal facing portal for OEMs, with a strong focus on intuitive UI and UX. You define how capabilities such as authentication, entitlements, billing, and usage scale across millions of requests and vehicles.
You will work on systems that decide what a customer can access, what they need to purchase, and how products are configured. From enabling an automotive customer to activate navigation features to ensuring platform scalability for millions of vehicles, your work directly impacts how HERE products are used in the real world.
- Define and own platform requirements across Automotive, Maps and Services, and Enterprise
- Shape the product vision and requirements towards a portal used by OEMs
- Drive UI and UX improvements that make complex platform capabilities clear and easy to use
- Translate domain needs into clear product artefacts, including PRDs, epics, user stories, and engineering tickets
- Shape capabilities around authentication, entitlements, billing, and usage tracking
- Drive platform solutions that support millions of requests and large scale automotive deployments
- Enable reuse and standardisation across products instead of one off solutions
- Align stakeholders across multiple product and engineering teams without direct authority
- Partner closely with engineering, architecture, and program teams to prioritise tickets and ensure delivery feasibility
- Define roadmap priorities and drive the rollout of new platform capabilities
Who are you?
You are a senior product manager who thrives in complex environments with many stakeholders. You bring clarity where others see ambiguity and know how to move things forward without creating unnecessary friction.
You enjoy connecting teams, building relationships, and influencing outcomes. You understand both the product and technical side, and you know how to balance a long term platform vision with immediate delivery needs. You also bring a strong appreciation for UI and UX and understand how thoughtful portal experiences can simplify complex workflows for internal users and OEM partners.
- 10+ years of experience in product management within automotive, mapping, or platform products
- Strong understanding of automotive ecosystems, OEM environments, or location based platforms
- Strong Experience working with internal facing products, portals, or workflow tools
- Strong understanding of UI and UX principles and experience partnering with design and engineering teams
- Experience working with large scale platforms, APIs, or distributed systems
- Proven track record of owning and driving complex product requirements across teams
- Experience translating product needs into tickets and working with engineering through delivery
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working in international and cross functional environments
Nice to have:
- Experience with developer platforms, authentication, or API products
- Familiarity with billing, licensing, or entitlement systems
- Exposure to AI driven products or data platforms
- Experience working with automotive portals or internal facing platform interfaces for OEMs
