You will combine hands-on architecture with organization-wide technical direction, enabling teams to build agents that operate securely, consistently, and efficiently.\nYou will:Design and deliver a reusable agentic orchestration framework that supports multi-agent pipelines, detection and validation stages, confidence-based routing, and escalation to advanced reasoning models when additional evidence is needed.\nEstablish the framework’s API strategy, versioning, backward compatibility, deprecation approach, and operational standards so that multiple teams can adopt and evolve it reliably.\nDefine and implement identity, authentication, and authorization patterns for agents that call tools, invoke other agents, or access production data.\nBuild a consistent guardrail and governance enforcement layer, including pathways suited to different levels of agent risk, complexity, and business impact.\nCreate measurable certification criteria for reusable AI components and develop reference implementations, starter templates, and development patterns that make compliant adoption straightforward.\nSet technical direction for engineers building shared capabilities on top of the framework and guide architecture decisions across participating domain teams.\nEvaluate requests to deviate from established patterns, determining when the shared framework should evolve and when a solution should align with an existing standard.\nWho are you?\nYou have built foundational technology that other engineering teams depend on and understand the long-term responsibility that comes with operating a shared framework. You bring depth in AI and machine learning together with disciplined software, platform, and security engineering.\nThe following experience will help you succeed in this role:A Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field, together with substantial relevant experience. Equivalent practical experience developing large-scale AI or ML platforms will also be considered.\nDemonstrated experience designing and shipping a reusable framework, SDK, or platform abstraction adopted by at least three engineering teams. This is the most important qualifying experience for the role.\nA track record of architecting and delivering production ML systems end to end and setting technical direction that other engineers successfully build upon.\nDeep knowledge of representation learning, embeddings, vector similarity search, retrieval-augmented generation, and ML fundamentals such as regression, classification, forecasting, and model interpretability.\nHands-on experience with LLMs and agentic architectures, including multi-agent orchestration, confidence gating, escalation patterns, and frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or comparable technologies.\nStrong Python and software engineering expertise, including framework or library design, API stability, testing, versioning, deprecation, distributed systems, and ML technologies such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.\nExperience in one or more complementary areas such as automated service identity and scoped authorization, agentic AI security controls, multimodal or vision-language models, LLMOps, vector databases, geospatial data, spatial indexing, entity resolution, satellite or aerial imagery, LiDAR, drone processing, C++, Java, or edge AI.\nWhat we offer\nHERE offers an opportunity to work in a cutting-edge technology environment with challenging problems to solve!
