As part of the Information Team you will ensure growth, security, and scalability of all Hermeus networks as well as support cross-org needs for network engineering.\nResponsibilities\nConfigure, and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, Access Points (wireless), and VPNs. \nMonitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability. \nPerform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems. \nImplement and maintain network security, including access controls, intrusion detection systems, and threat prevention. \nManage and administer network services such as DNS, DHCP, and IP address management (IPAM). \nDevelop and maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations, processes, and procedures. \nCollaborate with other IT teams to support infrastructure projects and resolve complex technical issues. \nParticipate in on-call rotation for after-hours support and critical incident response. \nStay up-to-date with emerging network technologies, best practices, and NIST guidelines. \nRequirements\n4+ years of experience as a Network Engineer or similar role. \nStrong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) and network hardware. \nExperience with network security principles and practices. \nExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills. \nAbility to work independently and as part of a team. \nStrong communication and interpersonal skills. \nPreferred Skills and Experiences\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. \nActive security clearance strongly preferred.\nFamiliarity with cloud networking concepts (AWS, Azure). \nFamiliarity with Palo Alto and Juniper network devices.\nBackground in government or cleared contractor networks.\nExperience with FedRAMP authorized cloud solutions (AWS Govcloud, Azure GCC-H, etc..) is a plus.\nExperience with network cybersecurity tools such as Wireshark, Nmap, AWS network security tools, Microsoft Defender, etc. \nPalo Alto Certification (PCCET, PCNSA, PCNSE, etc.).\nCisco Certifications (CCENT, CCT, CCNA, etc.)\nSANs Certification (GSEC, GCIA, GMON, GDSA, etc.).\nCompTIA Certification (Network+, Security +, CASP+,
