Our team is responsible for the design, testing, and integration of GNC systems, electrical hardware, control software, power distribution, and RF communications.\nThe Senior Electrical Engineer position requires system-level architects who are also experts in their specialized areas.\nAs an Avionics Electrical Engineer, you'll take charge of designing and testing custom electrical systems for both ground test and flight applications. \nYou will ensure the seamless integration and compatibility of your designs at the sub-system and integrated system level.\nAs a member of the avionics team, you'll have the opportunity to work across disciplines to create control and instrumentation systems for engine, structural, hydraulic, and electrical systems. \nRequirements:\nBachelor's degree in electrical engineering\n5+ years of experience in multiple of the following areas: electrical hardware design, control systems, instrumentation and signal conditioning, digital communication busses, analog design and simulation, power electronics, harness design\nPreferred Skills and Experience:\nMaster's degree in electrical, mechanical, aerospace engineering or similar disciplines\nDemonstrated project experience with embedded design, device integration, V&V, environmental qualification and/or flight testing\nFamiliarity with test and simulation tools (DMM, Oscilloscope, power supplies, SPICE, Ansys)\nExperience with electrical and mechanical design and version control software (Altium Designer, Siemens NX, Teamcenter, Capital Harness, Git, Teamcenter)\nExperience with avionics devices and protocols (RS-485, ARINC-685, FPGAs, GPS, INS, D38999 style connectors, etc.)\nStrong analysis and troubleshooting skills\nFamiliarity with aerospace industry standards (IPC-620, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-704, MIL-HDBK-516C, MIL-STD-464D, DO-160G) \nExperience working with DC power systems (Batteries, Motors, Generators, etc.)\nA bias towards action, and a willingness to work hands-on to make it happen\nEngineering project team experience \nAbility to travel on short notice to support test
