You will lead the entire lifecycle of functional safety activities from defining Items and creating HARAs to developing system safety concepts ensuring absolute compliance with ISO 26262 standards.Develop and implement system functional safety concepts and technical safety requirements.\n\nDefine automotive Items and perform corresponding Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessments (HARA).\n\nPlan, lead, and execute functional safety activities within vehicle or component projects according to ISO 26262.\n\nImplement and drive safety analyses, including FMEAs, FMEDAs, and FTAs.\n\nCreate functional safety (FuSa) work product templates and support the definition and implementation of robust internal FuSa processes.\n\nAct as a subject matter expert to support, train, and guide project teams in functional safety methodologies.\n\nPerform comprehensive functional safety reviews and assessments.\n\nCoordinate effectively with suppliers, service providers, and internal stakeholders to achieve project sub-goals within specified timeframes and budget compliance.\n\nCore Competencies\nDeep understanding and hands-on experience in implementing the ISO 26262 standard throughout the product development lifecycle.\n\nMastery of hazard identification, risk assessment, and quantitative/qualitative safety analyses, specifically HARA, FMEA, FMEDA, and FTA.\n\nAbility to define \"Items\" and translate safety goals into concrete functional and technical safety concepts and requirements.\n\nAdvanced to expert proficiency in utilizing critical engineering and simulation tools, including MATLAB/Simulink, ALM systems, Vector CAN tools, and APIS (or similar FMEA software).\n\nRated as highly important; the ability to analyze complex system behaviors, diagnose faults, and develop structured, technically sound solutions.\n\nHighly important capability to plan, track, and lead Functional Safety activities, ensuring all sub-goals and safety work products are completed within the designated timeframe and budget.\n\nStrong capability in defining, implementing, and standardizing safety processes and templates across the organization.\n\nWhat We offer\nGenerous Time Off: Enjoy 30 days of paid annual leave significantly exceeding the statutory minimum so you can fully unplug and recharge.\n\nFlexible Working: Work-life integration is key.
