The ideal candidate must possess a clear understanding of public company reporting requirements, have managed staff and demonstrate strong attention to detail. The incumbent must be comfortable working with various departments in the company and getting involved in multiple projects. In addition to strong leadership and management skills, the incumbent must show entrepreneurial spirit, possess strong organizational and documentation skills, strong teamwork skills and can work independently with internal and external professionals at all levels.\nThe Controller will be responsible for multiple facilities which are the Center of Excellence for the machining of medium to large landing gear components for commercial and defense markets.\nSUMMARY OF DUTIES\nResponsible for annual 5 year budget, strategic planning and regular forecasting\nResponsible for monthly & quarterly financial reporting including financial statements, memos and ensuring team is maintaining all GL account reconciliations\nResponsible for providing critical KPI reporting for operational success to improve operational performance\nMaintain, monitor and implement financial controls and procedures to satisfy Bill 198 (52-109);\nProvide financial insight to all management & support all functional areas;\nLiaison for annual financial audit and twice a year Bill 198 (52-109) audit\nLead annual physical inventory count and ensure cycle count process is maintained throughout year\nResponsible for maintaining all accounting records and proper archival of such records;\nCommunicate with Corporate office on financial data and business activities (tax, insurance etc) as required;\nOther analysis and projects as required;\nLead and develop your team to be timely, accurate and efficient in release of information;\nPromote the values of the company: Respect-Responsibility-Resilience-Recognition;\nWork closely with the other departments.\nQUALIFICATION:\nThe candidate should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance and hold a CPA designation\n EXPERIENCE:\nMinimum 5 years (post designation) working experience with preference from a manufacturing environment\n SKILLS & ABILITIES:\nStrong analytical skills\nDetail-oriented individual who possesses a high level of integrity\nAbility to demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit\nAdvanced PC skills in MS Excel and MS Word and ERP software\nPractical experience with automated accounting systems\nA “team player” mentality with a flexible and collaborative approach to completing tasks\nOrganized and strong multi-tasking skills\nExcellent written and oral communication skills\nConfident and possesses a personable, professional presence\nStrong management and interpersonal skills with a proven track record in developing relationships\nEnthusiastic, hardworking, demonstrated initiative and motivation in taking charge of their responsibilities\nProblem solver with sound judgment, who takes initiative, accepts ownership and accountability\nAbility to set clear and deliverable goals and follow through on them\nAbility to prioritize and manage competing deliverables based on urgency and importance\nSalary range: $110,000-$130,000 per year\nThis posting is due to a current opening.
