Responsibilities\nIn-Service Support\nProvide technical support to MROs, OEMs, and operators for landing gear-related in-service issues.\nReview and update Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM), repair procedures, and service instructions\nSupport Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations and critical customer inquiries.\nDevelop and communicate technical recommendations and corrective actions.\nCoordinate with design, stress, materials, manufacturing, and customer support teams to resolve technical issues.\nInvestigation and Root Cause Analysis\nLead technical investigations of landing gear and component failures.\nPerform root cause analysis using recognized methodologies such as 8D, Fishbone, FMEA, and Fault Tree Analysis.\nPrepare investigation reports and engineering recommendations.\nRepair Design and Product Improvement\nDevelop repair solutions for damaged or degraded landing gear components.\nAssess structural integrity, fatigue life, wear characteristics, and airworthiness of repaired components.\nDesign and validate engineering modifications to address recurring in-service issues.\nCoordinate certification and approval activities related to repairs and redesigns.\nSupport implementation of product improvements throughout the fleet.\nTechnical Leadership\nProvide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.\nServe as a subject matter expert for landing gear systems and components.\nSupport customer meetings, technical reviews, and engineering boards.\nParticipate in regulatory and airworthiness discussions when required.\nOur ideal candidate:\nBachelor of Science degree in Engineering \nMinimum of ten (10) years experience in the aerospace industry, landing gear experience preferred\nAbility to solve complex technical problems\nStrategic and conceptual thinker with a hands-on approach\nAbility to interpret easily technical aerospace drawings / GD&T\nUnderstand strength, fatigue, and durability properties\nUnderstand installation and aircraft operation along with aircraft certification requirements\nStrong ability to take decisions under pressure\nDemonstrated analytical skills with the ability to work constructively within teams\nDemonstrated ability to work independently, with minimal
