Territory is to be determined with the New York, Connecticut, and Massachusetts area.\nEssential Job Responsibilities\nProspect, identify, and develop new business opportunities within an assigned territory.\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.\nConduct in-person sales calls, presentations, and product demonstrations.\nUnderstand customer needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions.\nPrepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and quotations.\nNegotiate pricing, terms, and contracts while ensuring customer satisfaction.\nConsistently meet or exceed sales targets and performance objectives.\nMonitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.\nManages assigned accounts for Ed Herrington, Inc. profitability. Assists credit manager with credit issues in order to safeguard our financial interests in any given project.\nCollaborate with internal teams, including customer service, operations, and management, to ensure seamless customer support.\nPromotes and sells in all Herrington’s product group areas i.e. paint, Kitchen & Bath, countertops, etc..\nAttends trade shows, sales meetings, and builder/customer events as required.\nProvide regular territory and sales performance reports to management.\nQualifications\nAssociate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one to two years related experience and/or training in the building trades industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nProven experience in outside sales, business development, or a related field.\nStrong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.\nDemonstrated ability to build rapport and establish long-term customer relationships.\nExcellent negotiation and closing skills.\nSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.\nValid driver's license and the ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.\nPreferred Skills\nStrong problem-solving and consultative selling abilities.\nAbility to analyze customer needs and develop customized solutions.\nTrack record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales goals.\nBenefits\nCompetitive base salary plus commission opportunities.
