This includes overseeing the in-fleeting and de-fleeting processes, ensuring minimal downtime through managing OOS categories, retrieval of fleet from non-corporate locations and ensuring the fleet is physically accounted for on a regular basis. The Manager Fleet Operations will work closely with Area GMs to coordinate proper distribution of the fleet between areas and will communicate with other corporate cities to coordinate vehicle movements as required.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nNew Vehicle In-Fleeting\nCommunicate with delivering dealers on delivery timing and associated items.\n\nEnsure new vehicles are installed in Cars Plus within 48 hours of arrival.\n\nMonitor OEM status tape to determine timing on new vehicle arrivals and plan resources accordingly.\n\nCommunicate with Tech Ops Department to ensure PDI process is occurring within required fleeting timelines.\n\nArrange licensing as required to correspond with in-fleeting timelines.\n\nAssist with vehicle installation as required.\n\nCoordinate all plate renewals with the ministry on an annual basis.\n\nOut Of Service / Inventory Control\nMonitor all Non-Tech Ops Out of Service buckets (Admin, Research, Registration, Turnback, Stolen, Legal Hold and New Fleet) to ensure the resolution of outstanding items within a timely manner and to meet targeted OOS percentages.\n\nEnsure proper scanning of units on distribution lots to provide accurate visibility on the location of the fleet.\n\nCoordinate retrieval of vehicles from non-corporate locations (Out of Town) within a timely manner.\n\nEnsure a monthly physical inventory is conducted on the entire pool fleet.\n\nResearching location of missing vehicles on telematics portholes and communicating with Tech Ops for retrieval from impounds.\n\nEnsuring HOT (stolen) vehicles are processed.\n\nCoordinate with the Distribution department on the retrieval of all safety recall vehicles for delivery to Tech Ops department for processing.\n\nCoordinate movement of vehicles into and out of the pool as directed by the fleet department.\n\nVehicle Disposal\nRepurchase Turnbacks:\nCoordinate the retrieval of all repurchase turnback units from rental locations for processing.\n\nCoordinate inspection process and required vending for reconditioning and delivery to auction within required timeframes, while ensuring vehicle progress is properly noted on tracking template.\n\nCoordinate all required documentation associated with repurchase units as required by the OEM (RIMS - GM).\n\nEnsure vehicles are properly idle sighted to auction upon arrival.\n\nFollow up with the auction on vehicle acceptances (sign off).\n\nCoordinate resolution of rejected vehicles with the auction and vendors.\n\nEnsure vehicles are suspended immediately upon receipt of auction acceptance.\n\nCar Sales:\nCoordinate the retrieval of all grounded car sales vehicles with priority on pre-sold units.\n\nEnsure delivery to disposal areas as directed by the Remarketing department (RHP or Auction).\n\nEnsure vehicle registrations are being processed in a timely manner to the auction/buyer.\n\nEnsure vehicles are properly idle sighted to disposal areas upon arrival.\n\nTelematics:\nCoordinate the timely retrieval of vehicles requiring GeoTab device installation to achieve targeted connectivity levels.\n\nSecure and distribute new Geotab devices to Tech Ops department as required.\n\nCoordinate “in vehicle” telematics procedures as required.\n\nTNC:\nLocating and retrieving selected units for TNC usage.\n\nAdjust model code for vehicles assigned to TNC.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For:\nAdvanced Microsoft excel skills\nDetail oriented individual, operating at a very high level of accuracy\nExperience working with telematics platforms including Geotab is a plus but not required\nAbility to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across multiple functions and locations.\nAble to thrive in dynamic environments and navigate with confidence and agility\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\n\nResults driven, ability to make decisions and help solve problems.\nAbility to work under minimal supervision with a goal-oriented
