We’re looking for software engineers who will modernize Hertz’s tech stack and, in the process, ship delightful products to meet the ever-increasing demands of our customers.\nWhat you will do:\nImplement and maintain java based applications that can be high-volume and low-latency\nContribute to all stages of software development lifecycle\nDevelop and test software\nIdentify and resolve any technical issues arising\nParticipate in design stages\nIdentify changes to current infrastructure\nCreate technical design for the user stories using the overall system desin\nWrite well designed, testable code\nConduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging\nSupport continuous improvement, investigating alternatives and technologies, and presenting for architectural review\nWhat We're Looking For:\nB.S. in Computer Science or equivalent\n4+ years of experience in the technology industry\nProficiency in one or more programming languages and common data structures / algorithms\nExperience developing in the cloud platform using native cloud technologies and also building cloud agnostic technologies\nModern development practices like Test driven development, Clean code\nStrong communication skills. You must be able to work with cross-functional partners to gather requirements and explain outcomes\nStrong product sense.
