Success in this role comes from balancing technical expertise, operational excellence, and project leadership in a fast-paced, global environment focused on delivering resilient, modern network services\nWhat You’ll Do:\nLead operational support for the global Hertz field network, providing Tier III troubleshooting, partnering with the NOC on critical issues, contributing to root cause analysis, and ensuring support coverage for network infrastructure.\nDesign and deliver LAN, WAN, and wireless network solutions for field projects, including site-specific implementation, configuration of network hardware and software, IP address management, and maintenance of standards-based documentation.\nServe as the technical lead for network initiatives, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, performance, and availability standards.\nDrive network security and resilience by implementing, monitoring, and improving controls to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.\nMonitor network performance, capacity, and reliability to meet business requirements while ensuring compliance with corporate standards, regulatory requirements, and service level commitments.\nCommunicate project status and technical recommendations to stakeholders, mentor team members, support professional development initiatives, and contribute to technology roadmaps and infrastructure modernization strategies.\nWhat We’re Looking For:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.\n\n5+ years of experience designing, implementing, supporting, and optimizing enterprise network solutions within large-scale, distributed, branch, retail, or campus environments.\n\nStrong expertise in LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, wireless networking, routing, switching, TCP/IP, network architecture, and enterprise infrastructure design.\n\nExperience managing and supporting secure on-premises and cloud-based network environments, including Azure and/or AWS, with a solid understanding of network security principles such as firewalls, segmentation, secure remote access, vulnerability management, and Zero Trust architectures.\n\nHands-on experience with network automation, Infrastructure-as-Code, and network management platforms, including tools such as Python, Ansible, Terraform, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, monitoring, and observability solutions.\n\nAdvanced wireless networking experience, including design, deployment, optimization, and troubleshooting in enterprise environments.\n\nExperience with Fortinet networking and security solutions, including FortiGate, FortiSwitch, FortiAP, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, and SD-WAN technologies.\n\nProven experience leading infrastructure refreshes, modernization initiatives, lifecycle management programs, and vendor relationships while working within ITIL and Agile delivery frameworks.\n\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, influence technology decisions, and build effective partnerships across global teams, vendors, and stakeholders.\n\nDemonstrated technical leadership, organizational skills, customer-service focus, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment\n\nIndustry certifications: CCNP, Fortinet FCP, or equivalent industry certification preferred.\n\nThe starting salary is $120,000 and commensurate with experience.\nWhat You’ll Get:\nUp to 40% off any standard Hertz Rental \nPaid Time Off\nMedical, Dental & Vision plan options\nRetirement programs, including 401(k) employer matching\nPaid Parental Leave & Adoption Assistance\nEmployee Assistance Program for employees & family\nEducational Reimbursement & Discounts\nVoluntary Insurance Programs -
