If you like to own problems end-to-end and are passionate about technology, we want to hear from you!\nResponsibilities:\nOwn the design, architecture, and delivery of core systems end-to-end: from ambiguous problems to shipped, maintained products.\nPartner with founders to turn fuzzy goals into technical roadmaps, and drive them to ship.\nSet and raise the engineering bar: code review, testing standards, and architectural direction across the codebase.\nLead the design and productionization of the machine learning systems behind our AI-powered CAD.\nTroubleshoot, debug, and resolve defects: from everyday bugs to systemic issues in performance, reliability, and scalability.\nBuild on and improve our engineering practices (CI/CD, testing, observability) as the team and product grow.\nHelp shape our engineering culture and team as we grow.\nRequirements:\n7+ years building and shipping production software.\nDeep proficiency in Python and experience designing backend services that scale (e.g., Django, Flask, SQL).\nHands-on experience building and deploying machine learning models in production.\nTrack record of owning systems end-to-end and making sound architectural tradeoffs with limited direction.\nComfort with ambiguity and a track record of raising the technical bar of the teams you work with.\nStrong communication and teamwork skills.\nStrong Computer Science fundamentals\nBonus Skills:\nCAD, geometry, or computational-geometry domain experience.\nC#/.NET (some add-ins are C#).\nExperience packaging and shipping native desktop applications on Windows and macOS, including code signing.\nDeep AWS / cloud / infrastructure / DevOps experience at scale.\nEarly-stage startup or 0→1 product experience.\nWhat We Offer:\nCompetitive salary and equity options.\nComprehensive health insurance, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.\nCatered lunch.\nUnlimited time-off.\nA collaborative and inclusive work environment.\nOpportunities for professional growth and development.\nThe chance to be part of a passionate team building innovative products.\nOur application process consists of five steps:\nShort Survey: After reviewing your resume, if you meet the minimum requirements, we will send you a short questionnaire via email. We will invite you over to our office in San Mateo if you are based in the Bay Area. For candidates who reside outside of the Bay Area, we will do the interview via Google Meet.
