Working alongside software, systems, and engineering teams, the intern will gain hands-on experience with data analysis, machine learning models, computer vision applications, and AI-driven technologies in a fast-paced aerospace environment.\nEssential Responsibilities\nAssist in the development, training, testing, and evaluation of machine learning and artificial intelligence models.\nSupport data collection, cleaning, labeling, and preprocessing activities.\nConduct exploratory data analysis and generate insights from structured and unstructured datasets.\nAssist with computer vision, object detection, image processing, and autonomous system projects as applicable.\nDevelop scripts, tools, and automation solutions to support AI/ML workflows.\nParticipate in model validation, performance testing, and optimization efforts.\nSupport the documentation of algorithms, datasets, experiments, and technical findings.\nCollaborate with software, systems, and engineering teams on cross-functional projects.\nParticipate in design reviews, technical discussions, and team meetings.\nFollow company policies, procedures, cybersecurity requirements, and engineering best practices.\nPerform other duties and special projects as assigned.\nQualifications & Experience\nRequired\nCurrently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.\nUnderstanding of machine learning fundamentals and data analysis concepts.\nExperience programming in Python.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nFamiliarity with data structures, algorithms, and software development fundamentals.\nEagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced technical environment.\nPreferred\nExperience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Keras, or similar tools.\nExperience with data visualization, statistical analysis, or predictive modeling.\nFamiliarity with computer vision, image processing, natural language processing, or autonomous systems.\nExperience with Git, GitHub, or software version control systems.\nExperience working with cloud platforms, databases, or large datasets.\nParticipation in AI/ML projects, research, hackathons, internships, or open-source contributions.\nPhysical Requirements\nProlonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.\nFrequent use of hands and fingers for typing and operating computer equipment.\nAbility to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.\nAbility to occasionally move throughout office, laboratory, warehouse, manufacturing, or flight-test environments.\nAbility to lift and carry up to 15 pounds occasionally.\nAbility to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) when entering manufacturing or production areas.\nBenefits Overview\n Heven AeroTech offers interns valuable hands-on experience, mentorship from experienced engineering and software professionals, and exposure to cutting-edge aerospace technologies.
