At Heven, your voice matters, your ideas are heard, and your contributions make a tangible impact as you grow through hands-on experience and collaboration across the team.\nRole Summary\n The Engineering Intern will support Heven AeroTech's engineering team in the design, development, testing, and production of advanced unmanned aerial systems (UAS). This position provides hands-on experience working alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams, contributing to real-world aerospace projects while developing practical engineering skills in a fast-paced technology environment.\nEssential Responsibilities\nSupport engineering projects related to airframe, propulsion, avionics, software, payload integration, and flight operations.\nAssist with engineering design, testing, data collection, analysis, and documentation activities.\nParticipate in prototype assembly, system integration, and hardware testing.\nConduct research and technical evaluations to support product development efforts.\nAssist with creating and maintaining engineering drawings, reports, test plans, and technical documentation.\nSupport ground and flight testing activities under the supervision of engineering personnel.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, quality, and flight operations.\nParticipate in engineering meetings, design reviews, and project planning discussions.\nFollow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.\nPerform other duties and special projects as assigned.\nQualifications & Experience\nRequired\nCurrently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to interpret technical information and apply engineering concepts.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications.\nEagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced engineering environment. Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required to perform the responsibilities of this role.\nThis position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.\nIf this role requires access to information controlled under U.S. export control laws (ITAR/EAR), applicants must also qualify as a \"U.S. person\" under 22 CFR §120.62 (U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual such as an asylee or refugee).\nPreferred\nExperience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360, CATIA, or similar tools.\nExperience with engineering projects, robotics, UAS, aerospace systems, or student engineering organizations.\nFamiliarity with data analysis, testing methodologies, or technical documentation.\nBasic programming experience in Python, C++, MATLAB, or similar languages.\nHands-on experience assembling, troubleshooting, or testing hardware systems.\nPhysical Requirements\nProlonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.\nFrequent use of hands and fingers for typing, operating engineering software, and working with tools or equipment.\nAbility to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.\nAbility to work in office, laboratory, warehouse, manufacturing, and outdoor flight-test environments.\nAbility to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods during testing and assembly activities.\nAbility to lift and carry up to 30 pounds occasionally.\nAbility to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) when entering manufacturing, laboratory, or flight-test areas.\nBenefits Overview\n Heven AeroTech offers interns valuable hands-on experience, mentorship from experienced engineers, and exposure to cutting-edge aerospace technologies.
