At Heven, your voice matters, your ideas are heard, and your contributions make a tangible impact as you grow through hands-on experience and collaboration across the team.\nRole Summary\n The Manufacturing Intern will support Heven AeroTech's manufacturing and production teams in the assembly, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement of advanced unmanned aerial systems (UAS). This position provides hands-on experience in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment and offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced manufacturing, engineering, quality, and operations professionals.\nThe ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and eager to gain practical experience in aerospace manufacturing and production.\nEssential Responsibilities\nAssist with the assembly, integration, and testing of UAS components and systems.\nSupport manufacturing personnel with day-to-day production activities and assigned projects.\nAssist with the preparation, organization, and staging of materials, components, tools, and equipment.\nFollow work instructions, drawings, assembly procedures, and other manufacturing documentation.\nAssist with inspection and verification of components and completed assemblies.\nIdentify and communicate potential quality issues, defects, or discrepancies to appropriate personnel.\nSupport manufacturing process improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.\nAssist with maintaining accurate production records, inventory information, and manufacturing documentation.\nCollect and organize production data to support process analysis and continuous improvement efforts.\nCollaborate with Engineering, Quality, Procurement, and other cross-functional teams to support production objectives.\nParticipate in manufacturing meetings, training, and safety activities.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.\nFollow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality requirements.\nPerform other duties and special projects as assigned.\nQualifications & Experience\nRequired\nCurrently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited college, university, or technical program pursuing a degree or certificate in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality.\nBasic understanding of mechanical and manufacturing concepts.\nAbility to read and follow detailed instructions, procedures, and technical documentation.\nStrong organizational and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nBasic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.\nWillingness to work hands-on in a manufacturing environment.\nEagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment.\nProficiency in English (spoken and written) is required to perform the responsibilities of this role.\nThis position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.\nIf this role requires access to information controlled under U.S. export control laws (ITAR/EAR), applicants must also qualify as a \"U.S. person\" under 22 CFR §120.62 (U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual such as an asylee or refugee). \nPreferred\nHands-on experience with mechanical assembly, fabrication, machining, electronics, or other manufacturing processes.\nFamiliarity with engineering drawings, schematics, or bills of materials (BOMs).\nExperience using hand tools, power tools, or measurement equipment.\nFamiliarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement concepts.\nExperience with CAD software or other engineering/manufacturing software.\nExperience working with robotics, UAS, aerospace systems, automotive systems, or other complex hardware.\nPrevious internship, work experience, academic project, robotics team, or technical club experience.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to stand and walk for extended periods while performing manufacturing and assembly activities.\nAbility to frequently use hands and fingers to operate tools, equipment, and computer systems.\nAbility to bend, stoop, reach, kneel, and work in various positions as required to perform manufacturing activities.\nAbility to work in office, laboratory, warehouse, manufacturing, and production environments.\nAbility to lift and carry up to 30 pounds occasionally.\nAbility to safely operate or work around manufacturing tools, equipment, and machinery as trained and authorized.\nAbility to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, or other PPE as required.\nAbility to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders in a manufacturing environment.\nBenefits Overview\n Heven AeroTech offers interns valuable hands-on experience, mentorship from experienced manufacturing and engineering professionals, and exposure to innovative aerospace technologies.
