Open up opportunities with HPE.\nJob Description:\nHPE is seeking a DevOps Engineer to work in our Bangalore office. This person will be responsible for designing, developing, troubleshooting and debugging software programs to support a mature CI/CD pipeline.\nThis person contributions include applying intermediate level of subject matter expertise to solve common technical problems. Acts as an informed team member providing analysis of information and recommendations for appropriate action. Works independently within an established framework and with moderate supervision.\nLocation: Must reside and work a hybrid schedule out of our office\nWhat you’ll do:\nDevelop and maintain CI/CD pipelines.\nBuild tools to reduce occurrence of errors and improve user experience.\nDevelop and maintain integrations with internal back-end systems.\nPerform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues.\nDevelop observability tools for the end-to-end lifecycle of the pipeline.\nDesign procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.\nMaintain common developer resources, including ensuring that relevant security updates are continuously applied.\nWhat you need to bring:\nRequired skills:\nProficiency with Git and GitLab/GitHub workflows.\nGood knowledge of Java, Groovy or Python.\nGood knowledge of Docker and container workflows.\nWorking knowledge of Jenkins or similar CI/CD platforms.\nWorking knowledge of AI prompt engineering.\nProblem-solving attitude.\nCollaborative team spirit.\nFluent in English.\nEducation and Experience Required:\nUniversity or Bachelor's degree; Advanced University or MBA preferred.\nRelated previous work experience.\n2-4 years’ experience\nPreferred skills:\nExperience as a DevOps engineer or in a similar software engineering role is a merit.\nExperience with one or more cloud platforms, e.g. AWS, GCP or Azure.\nExperience in an operational environment (on-call support).\nAccessibility\nHPE is committed to creating an inclusive and accessible workplace and encourages applications from all qualified individuals, including those with disabilities.
