This role is ideal for individuals looking to develop their careers in Linux administration, enterprise infrastructure, networking, and cloud technologies.\nHow you´ll make your mark:\nAdminister, monitor, and maintain Linux-based server environments.\nPerform system health checks, patching, upgrades, and routine operational activities.\nTroubleshoot operating system, application, and infrastructure-related incidents.\nSupport Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management processes in line with ITIL best practices.\nMonitor system performance, availability, and security using enterprise monitoring tools.\nManage user accounts, permissions, file systems, and server configurations.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and knowledge articles.\nParticipate in automation and operational improvement initiatives.\nNetworking Responsibilities\nSupport and troubleshoot network-related incidents across customer environments.\nPerform network diagnostics and connectivity troubleshooting using tools such as ping, traceroute, netstat, tcpdump, and Wireshark.\nTroubleshoot issues related to DNS, DHCP, NTP, SMTP, and load balancing services.\nSupport routing and switching environments, including VLAN configuration and network segmentation concepts.\nAnalyze network traffic and identify performance bottlenecks or connectivity issues.\nWork with WAN, LAN, and remote access technologies.\nCollaborate with network and security teams during incidents, changes, and project implementations.\nParticipate in network maintenance activities and infrastructure upgrades.\nContainer Platform Exposure\nAssist in supporting containerized environments based on Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.\nPerform basic monitoring and troubleshooting of container workloads.\nSupport deployment activities under guidance from senior engineers.\nAbout you:\nBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Networks, or equivalent practical experience.\nBasic to intermediate knowledge of Linux operating systems (RHEL, Rocky Linux, Ubuntu, CentOS).\nGood understanding of networking fundamentals:TCP/IPDNSDHCPVLANsSwitching\nUnderstanding of Linux networking services and troubleshooting methodologies.\nBasic scripting knowledge (Bash, Python, or similar) is considered an advantage.\nFamiliarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere is a plus.\nBasic understanding of Docker or Kubernetes is considered an advantage.\nKnowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus.\nITIL Foundation certification or knowledge is considered an advantage.\nStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills.\nGood written and verbal communication skills in English.\nAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented and customer-focused environment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nRHCSA, LPIC-1, CCNA, Network+ or equivalent certifications.\nExperience gained through internships, laboratories, personal projects, or technical support roles.\nInterest in enterprise infrastructure, networking, automation, and cloud technologies.\nAccessibility\nHPE is committed to creating an inclusive and accessible workplace and encourages applications from all qualified individuals, including those with disabilities.
