Open up opportunities with HPE.\nJob Description:\nThe Product Master Data Transformation Engineer is responsible for supporting daily Product Master Data operations within HPE's Product and Services Data Operations (PSDO) organization, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across SAP S/4HANA, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), and legacy systems.\nThis role focuses on maintaining product master data, resolving operational issues related to order fallouts, supporting data governance processes, and identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation.\nThe position works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure operational efficiency, minimize revenue and service impacts, and support ongoing digital transformation initiatives.\nResponsibilities\nProduct Master Data Management & Operations\nPerform daily Product Master Data creation, maintenance, and updates across SAP S/4HANA, PLM, and legacy systems.\nMaintain accurate Material Master records, Bill of Materials (BOM), and Variant Configuration data in accordance with established business requirements.\nMonitor and validate data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across enterprise systems.\nInvestigate and resolve Product Master Data issues impacting order processing, product configuration, and operational workflows.\nSupport the resolution of order fallouts to minimize revenue loss, order delays, and service disruptions.\nCoordinate with cross-functional teams to address data discrepancies and ensure timely issue resolution.\nFollow established data governance policies, procedures, and quality standards.\nData Quality, Governance & Reporting\nPerform data validation, quality checks, and reconciliation activities to maintain data integrity across SAP S/4HANA, PLM, and legacy systems.\nIdentify data quality issues, investigate root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.\nMaintain process documentation, operational procedures, and governance records in alignment with ISO 9000 requirements.\nDevelop and maintain operational reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to monitor data quality and process efficiency.\nTrack operational issues, document resolutions, and escalate risks or recurring problems when necessary.\nPrepare training materials and support knowledge-sharing activities related to Product Master Data processes.\nProcess Improvement & Digital Transformation Support\nIdentify opportunities to improve Product Master Data processes, reduce manual activities, and enhance operational efficiency.\nSupport process standardization, continuous improvement, and automation initiatives.\nCollaborate with PSDO Automation and Digital Transformation teams to implement process enhancements and data quality improvements.\nSupport the adoption of AI-enabled tools and automated workflows for reporting, documentation, data validation, and knowledge management.\nParticipate in Kaizen, Lean Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement activities as needed.\nAssist with testing, validation, and implementation of new tools, system enhancements, and process changes.\n\nEducation and Experience Required\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.\nTypically 4-6 years of experience in Product Master Data Management, SAP Material Master, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), or related enterprise data management functions.\nHands-on experience working with SAP S/4HANA, including Material Master, Bill of Materials (BOM), and Variant Configuration.\nExperience working with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems and related data management processes.\nExperience maintaining, validating, and troubleshooting master data across enterprise systems.\nAdvanced English proficiency, both written and verbal.\nKnowledge and Skills\nGood understanding of Product Master Data processes, including material creation, maintenance, configuration, and data validation.\nAbility to identify and resolve data discrepancies, operational issues, and order processing errors.\nExperience performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to improve data quality.\nFamiliarity with data governance procedures, process documentation, and quality control standards.\nAbility to analyze operational data, identify trends, and support reporting activities.\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy when managing large volumes of product data.\nAbility to manage multiple operational tasks, prioritize activities, and meet established deadlines.\nStrong customer service mindset and ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve business issues.\nAbility to work independently while following established operational procedures and escalation processes.\nPreferred Qualifications\nFamiliarity with HPE's internal systems, legacy platforms, and Product and Services Data Operations (PSDO) processes.\nKnowledge of SQL, Power BI, or similar data analysis and reporting tools.\nFamiliarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools,
