Open up opportunities with HPE.\nJob Description:\nWhat you’ll do:\nKey Responsibilities:\nParticipate in security working groups and discussions for standards like NIST FIPS 140-3, NDcPP, EUCC and NCCS ITSAR both internally and externally\nDesign and implement requirements in compliance with said security standards/certifications\nWork on open-source security libraries such as OpenSSL and OpenSSH and custom implementations \nConduct in-depth gap analysis on routers, switches and firewalls and CPE devices against security standards \nCollaborate and consult as the SME for security standards with various platfrom architects, developers and testers, to implement secure configurations for network equipment.\nValidate security configurations, system hardening practices, and patch management processes to ensure they meet standards.\nCreate and maintain comprehensive documentation, including security policies, entropy reports, procedures, audit reports, and technical assessments.\nWhat you need to bring:\nEducation and Experience Required:\nBachelor’s/Master’s degree in cybersecurity/ computer science or equivalent\n6-8 years of experience in cybersecurity with proven contributions in FIPS/Common Criteria or equivalent security certifications\nHigh proficiency in C/C++ with a test-driven mindset\nStrong understanding of network protocols, cryptography and cybersecurity tools.\nStrong knowledge of Linux/Unix development environments \nUnderstanding of software vulnerabilities and mitigations\nA genuine passion for building effective and pragmatic security\nExcellent problem-solving skills with out-of-the-box critical thinking \nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nPassionate about writing good quality code and be open-minded to feedback on detailed code reviews\nCybersecurity-related certification(s), including CCSP, CISSP, CISM, CEH, GPEN is a plus\nAdditional Skills:\nCloud Architectures, Cross Domain Knowledge, Design Thinking, Development Fundamentals, DevOps, Distributed Computing, Microservices Fluency, Full Stack Development, Security-First Mindset, Solutions Design, Testing & Automation, User Experience (UX)What We Can Offer You:\nHealth & Wellbeing\nWe strive to provide our team members and their loved ones with a comprehensive suite of benefits that supports their physical, financial and emotional wellbeing.\nPersonal & Professional Development\nWe also invest in your career because the better you are, the better we all are.
