May provide team leadership and mentoring to others.\nIn a typical day as a Site Reliability Engineer Staff, you would...\nAs a Staff Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and optimizing cloud infrastructure and deployment systems. Your work will directly impact scalability, security, and operational efficiency across our platforms. Key responsibilities include:\nEnhance Infrastructure as Code (IAC) and enforce best practices.\n\nOptimize cloud infrastructure for scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness.\n\nDevelop internal tools to support and streamline cloud platform operations.\n\nImprove CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows using FluxCD and Jenkins.\n\nAddress container image vulnerabilities and standardize remediation processes.\n\nBuild Amazon Machine Images (AMIs) aligned with CIS and STIG benchmarks.\n\nStrengthen monitoring, alerting, and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, and logging tools.\n\nTroubleshoot complex production issues to ensure system reliability and customer satisfaction.\n\nFine-tune distributed systems such as Apache Kafka and Cassandra.\n\nCollaborate with development, security, and operations teams to align infrastructure with application needs.\n\nWhat you need to bring:\nMinimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in Infra Ops, Dev Ops, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).\n\nProficiency with Linux systems, especially Debian-based distributions.\n\nStrong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP.\n\nExpertise in Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Packer, and Ansible.\n\nSolid programming skills in Python and/or Golang.\n\nDeep understanding of containerization (Docker, Container) and orchestration tools (AWS EKS, GCP GKE).\n\nExperience with GitOps workflows.\n\nProven track record in implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.\n\nStrong background in security and familiarity with security programs.\n\nExperience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).\n\nKnowledge of both relational (SQL) and non-relational databases.\n\nExcellent problem-solving and debugging skills with a strong sense of ownership.\n\nExperience managing distributed systems like Apache Kafka and Cassandra.\n\nEffective communicator and collaborative team player.\n\nIt is mandatory to attend to San Juan office twice a week.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience contributing to open-source projects.\n\nBackground in security engineering or related disciplines.\n\nWhat We Can Offer You:\nHealth & Wellbeing\nWe strive to provide our team members and their loved ones with a comprehensive suite of benefits that supports their physical, financial and emotional wellbeing.\nPersonal & Professional Development\nWe also invest in your career because the better you are, the better we all are.
