Works closely with Product Management, Systems Engineering, and Development teams to ensure networking features, architectures, and releases meet quality, functionality, and customer requirements. Develops automation tools and test frameworks to improve validation efficiency and product quality.\nWe are seeking engineers with strong software testing, automation, and problem-solving skills who are interested in developing expertise in networking technologies. The ideal candidate has experience with Python, automation frameworks, validation, debugging, and cross-functional collaboration, and is eager to learn and work with enterprise networking products.\nManagement Level Definition\nApplies established subject matter knowledge to solve technical challenges involving networking technologies, test automation, and product validation. Works independently on assigned projects while collaborating with cross-functional global teams. Contributes to testing strategy, problem investigation, and continuous improvement initiatives under moderate supervision.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and validation procedures for networking products and solutions.\nPerform feature, system, integration, and regression testing to ensure product quality and reliability.\nTroubleshoot and debug complex networking and software issues.\nDevelop and maintain automation scripts and frameworks using Python.\nCollaborate with Product Management, Development, and Quality Engineering teams.\nParticipate in validation of networking reference designs and customer deployment scenarios.\nIdentify, document, reproduce, and track defects through resolution.\nContribute to release readiness and product quality initiatives.\nCreate technical documentation and validation reports\nWork effectively within globally distributed engineering teams.\nEducation and Experience Required\nBachelor's or Master's degree and typically 5+ years of relevant experience in networking, validation engineering, testing, or quality engineering.\nKnowledge and Skills - Required\nStrong Python programming, scripting, or automation experience\nSoftware testing and validation methodologies\nTest automation development and debugging skills\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities\nRoot-cause analysis capabilities\nExperience working with automation frameworks or automated testing solutions\nStrong communication and collaboration skills\nAbility to learn new technologies quickly\nExperience working in Linux or similar development environments\nKnowledge and Skills - Preferred\nNetworking fundamentals\nTCP/IP knowledge\nRouting and switching concepts\nExposure to networking products or infrastructure environments\nBGP, OSPF, or MPLS knowledge\nNetwork testing and validation experience\nCI/CD tools and test automation pipelines\nEnterprise or data-center networking exposure\nAccessibility\nHPE is committed to creating an inclusive and accessible workplace and encourages applications from all qualified individuals, including those with disabilities.
