Open up opportunities with HPE.\nJob Description:\n1) Hybrid Cloud Architecture & Design.\nLead the design of hybrid cloud architectures combining on-prem infrastructure with public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), including integration with regional data sovereignty requirements.\nDevelop HLDs, LLDs, migration blueprints, and implementation plans tailored to Malaysia/SEA customer environments.\nProvide expert guidance in cloud adoption, modernization strategies, and digital transformation roadmaps.\n2) Implementation & Technical Delivery\nDeliver full lifecycle implementation of hybrid cloud components:\nVirtualization (VMware vSphere, VCF, Hyper-V)\nPrivate cloud stacks (Nutanix, VMware, HPE GreenLake)\nPublic cloud services for ASEAN markets (Azure MY/SG, AWS Singapore, GCP Singapore)\nExecute migration of workloads, databases, and applications from on-prem to cloud or hybrid platforms.\nImplement automation, IaC (Terraform, Ansible), and CI/CD processes as part of modernization initiatives.\n3) Regional Compliance, Security, & Governance\nEnsure hybrid cloud solutions comply with regulatory frameworks such as:\nMalaysia: BNM RMiT, PDPA\nSingapore: MAS TRM\nThailand / Indonesia / Vietnam: Local data residency and compliance expectations\nProvide advisory services around IAM, encryption, zero trust security, and governance models.\n4) Customer Advisory & Stakeholder Engagement\nAct as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise customers in sectors such as BFSI, telecommunications, manufacturing, and government.\nConduct cloud readiness assessments, TCO/ROI analysis, cost optimization reviews, and performance evaluations.\nDeliver workshops, technical presentations, and knowledge transfer to customer technical teams.\n5) Multi-Country Project Delivery\nSupport regional consulting projects across SEA (Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines).\nCollaborate with regional delivery teams in ASEAN to ensure quality and consistency of technical outcomes.\nPrepare clear documentation, progress reports, and handover materials aligned with internal and customer standards.\nEducation and Experience Required:\n6-10 years of IT consulting, cloud engineering, or infrastructure delivery experience.\nDemonstrated success in delivering complex hybrid cloud or data center transformation projects in the Malaysia or SEA region.\nStrong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills.\nKnowledge and Skills:\nStrong understanding of hybrid cloud architecture and integration patterns.\nHands-on expertise in:\nCloud Platforms: Azure, AWS, GCP\nVirtualization: VMware vSphere/VCF, Hyper-V\nHybrid Cloud Platforms: HPE GreenLake, Azure Arc, AWS Outposts\nContainers: Kubernetes, AKS/EKS/GKE, OpenShift\nNetworking: VPC/VNet, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, firewall/security rules\nAutomation: Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Python\nExperience with multi-region cloud deployments, especially Singapore-based cloud regions.\nStrong communication and presentation abilities for both technical and non-technical audiences.\nAbility to lead customer conversations, negotiate trade-offs, and guide decision-making.\nDelivery-oriented, self-driven, able to work independently in diverse cultural environments.\nComfortable working in multi-country, multi-time zone project setups.\nCertifications (Preferred):\nAzure Architect Expert, AWS Solutions Architect - Professional, or Google Cloud Architect.\nVMware VCP/VCAP.\nHPE certifications (ASE / Master ASE).\nITIL or TOGAF beneficial.\nWhy This Role Is Important (Malaysia/SEA Context)\nEnterprises in Malaysia and ASEAN are rapidly adopting hybrid cloud as the default model, driven by digital transformation, compliance needs, and workload modernization.\nCustomers expect consultants to bring both technical depth and regional regulatory awareness, especially in BFSI and government sectors.\nHybrid cloud consultants play a key role in helping customers modernize legacy systems, integrate on-prem workloads with cloud services, and optimize costs while maintaining compliance.\nWhat We Can Offer You:\nHealth & Wellbeing\nWe strive to provide our team members and their loved ones with a comprehensive suite of benefits that supports their physical, financial and emotional wellbeing.\nPersonal & Professional Development\nWe also invest in your career because the better you are, the better we all are.
