Open up opportunities with HPE.\nJob Description:\nThe HPC & AI Software team is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to define and lead product integration through software development lifecycle checkpoints. This leadership role requires close collaboration with product, platform, and engineering organizations to drive planning, execution, and delivery across multiple technical teams.\nThe successful candidate combines strong program management capabilities with technical depth. They are comfortable translating business requirements into execution plans, engaging with architecture and product management, troubleshooting technical roadblocks, anticipating program risks, and communicating clearly with executive stakeholders. The TPM will also partner with engineering management to improve processes, delivery effectiveness, and program efficiency.\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead complex, cross-functional technical programs involving multiple product, platform, and engineering teams from planning through implementation and release.\nDevelop and manage program schedules, milestones, critical deliverables, resource allocation plans, dependencies, risks, and execution requirements.\nDrive Agile execution across multiple engineering teams, ensuring alignment on priorities, dependencies, release timelines, and feedback cycles.\nMonitor program progress and analyze business and engineering information to adjust schedules, priorities, resource allocations, and delivery plans.\nCommunicate program status, risks, escalations, and issue analysis to stakeholders and senior leadership; facilitate decisions and drive resolution of technical roadblocks.\nEstablish and monitor Agile delivery metrics, including velocity, burndown charts, and cumulative flow, to forecast delivery timelines and identify systemic bottlenecks.\nIdentify process improvements, integrate new technologies and quality initiatives, and provide guidance and mentoring to less-experienced team members.\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s or master’s degree in business management, engineering, computer science, or a related field.\nTypically, 6+ years of relevant experience in technical program or project management.\nAt least 3 years of experience managing complex technical programs using Agile and Scrum methodologies.\nStrong proficiency in software development, lifecycle processes, product integration, and software implementation practices.\nDemonstrated experience managing schedules, budgets, resources, dependencies, risks, and deliverables across matrixed teams.\nExperience engaging with architecture, design, development, and troubleshooting activities in a software engineering environment.\nPMP or PMI certification is preferred.\nExperience with High-Performance Computing environments is a plus.\nKnowledge and Skills:\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.\nStrong business acumen and demonstrated success managing programs across multiple functions.\nProficiency with project and program planning tools used to create, manage, and track deliverables and results.\nAbility to translate technical concepts and business requirements into practical execution plans.\nStrong written, verbal, stakeholder management, negotiation, and executive communication skills.\nAbility to influence matrixed teams and collaborate effectively with engineering, product, platform, and development partners.\nAbility to apply AI for data analysis, research, and content generation.\nMastery of English and proficiency in the applicable local language.\nEstablish and monitor Agile delivery metrics (such as velocity, burn-down charts, and cumulative flow) to predict delivery timelines and identify systemic bottlenecks\nAccessibility\nHPE is committed to creating an inclusive and accessible workplace and encourages applications from all qualified individuals, including those with disabilities.
