Candidate should have a strong customer focus, sensitivity in dealing with diverse cultures, ability to learn and adapt quickly.\nResponsibilities:\nAdmin, Operate and Manage Linux KVM servers\nExperience in Linux administration.\nExperience in Linux command line interface.\nExperience in HA, DRS, and other cluster features.\nExperience in Virtual Machine operations and configurations.\nExperience in Performance Monitoring and Performance Chart.\nExperience in Networking at Linux and KVM level\nExperience in Storage, iSCSI, FC, Software iSCSI, RDM configurations.\nExperience in Linux security and hardening.\nAdvanced understanding of Linux, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory/LDAP, NFS technologies.\nExpert on one or more infrastructure components - Compute, Storage (iSCSI & FC), Network.\nUnderstanding of Docker containers.\nUnderstanding of scripting (Shell, Python, VMware PowerCLI).\nUnderstanding of cloud management tools such as OpsRamp, Logz.io, Aruba Fabric Composer, Morpheus\nAdditional Skill.\nAttend daily standups/scrums.\nRespond to service alerts and take remedial actions.\nFollow Change Management processes and procedures.\nResolve customer’s issues via telephone, email, or remote sessions.\nIdentify and escalate issues in a timely manner to vendor according to process guidelines.\nLead service restoration/incident resolution during MIs (major incidents).\nLeverage internal technical expertise, including peers, mentors, knowledge base, community forums and other internal tools, to provide the most effective solutions to customer issues.\nCollaborate with other technology teams in diagnosing and isolating the cause of complex issues.\nMaintain quality on case documentation, SLA timeframes and operational metrics.\nPerforms within the Productivity Measure of the team (scorecard).\nHandle Problem Management, Post Incident Reviews and RCA.\nWhat you need to bring:\nExcellent communication skills.\nAbility to work in a cross-functional team.\nUnderstanding of CI/CD and DevOps methodologies.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced, iterative environment.\nAbility to influence and drive change.\nAbility to provide technical leadership.\nAccessibility\nHPE is committed to creating an inclusive and accessible workplace and encourages applications from all qualified individuals, including those with disabilities.
