Establishes and maintains relationships with business leaders to guide and influence decision-making. Provides analytics to business initiatives, typically representing a sub-function within finance for a particular business. Supports policy and process improvement and identifies opportunities. Identifies issues and proposes solutions. Represents finance on cross- functional teams. Provides mentoring and guidance to analysts.\nFunctional & Analytics\nApply in-depth knowledge of finance organizational structures, supply chain models, operating models, and processes to analyse, assess and improve the BU’s finance functions and drive bottom line impact.\nLeverage understanding of HP Inc manufacturing, procurement, and sales models to identify potential risk and mitigation.\nBuild analytical or statistical modelling to zero in opportunities to unearth process failures and financial leakages.\nAlign recovery and team objectives with the company’s goals.\nForecasts, manages, and reports on project financials, planned vs actual project schedule, and resource utilization. Provides weekly status reports to communicate with senior leadership.\nDevelop strategic reports to provide predicative analytics that allow our leaders to augment business decisions.\nVisualizing and implementing Robotic Process Automation, based on process reviews, to increase efficiency, drive cost saving and create an enhanced control environment.\nDefine and deploy end-to-end automation solutions that improve the BU’s ability to optimize reporting strategies and processes.\nBusiness Development\nDrive a culture of continuous improvement and proactively identify opportunities for process enhancements and cost reduction. \nBuild analytical hypothesis catering to specific HP business models and processes.\nConceptualizing cost reduction initiatives, deploying spend analytics, contract analytics, category profiling and opportunity identification, cost modelling & financial analysis, risk analysis and supplier performance assessment. \nStakeholder & Program Management (Internal & External Recovery Engagements)\nProgram manages new initiatives from identification, building proof of concept, creating business cases, obtaining relevant stakeholder buy-ins, deployment of analytics and managing operations to deliver profitable engagements.\nLead/participate in complex negotiations with suppliers/partners to recoup identified lost profits.\nStrong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.\nStrong analytical skills.\nStrong business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel).\nStrong communication and influencing skills.\nExcellent teamwork skills.\nEducation and Experience Required:\nFirst level university degree with a focus in business or economics recommended or equivalent experience.\nTypically, 4+ years of experience as a financial analyst.\nTypically experienced in more than one finance function\n2-3 years of experience in Print business or related field\nThe pay range for this role is $73,800 to $113,650 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only).
