The role enhances current business processes and performance metrics by leading regional and global business unit planning teams, and identifies opportunities to streamline and optimize operational processes. The role contributes to special projects and communicates requirements to the global business unit planning teams.\nResponsibilities\nOwn end-to-end service parts demand planning across the full-service lifecycle, applying appropriate quantitative forecasting methods by part behavior, lifecycle stage, and variability.\nAnalyze large historical datasets to identify demand patterns, structural shifts, and root causes, translating insights into actionable forecast, stocking, and lifecycle decisions.\nLead forecast accuracy and bias analysis, identify systemic root causes, and implement corrective actions that measurably improve forecast performance and customer fill rate.\nDefine and optimize multi-echelon inventory policies across a complex service network to balance customer experience, availability, and total inventory cost.\nEvaluate current and forward-looking inventory positions, taking decisive action to mitigate shortages, excess, and obsolescence risk.\nApply multi-echelon inventory optimization principles to drive data-backed inventory decisions across DCs, RDCs, and forward stocking locations.\nMonitor and manage Excess & Obsolescence (E&O) trends, developing mitigation strategies and driving execution to reduce financial exposure.\nOptimize sourcing and repair strategies, balancing repair, reuse, and new buy decisions to improve inventory health and cost efficiency.\nManage network replenishment, backlog, and material balancing, identifying root causes and executing corrective actions to prevent service or inventory risks.\nLead planning activities for key lifecycle events, including New Product Introduction (NPI) and Last Time Buy (LTB), in close collaboration with PLM, Procurement and other regions\nMonitor key performance metrics, develop relevant reporting, and communicate insights clearly to stakeholders, driving actions to meet or exceed service, cost, and inventory goals.\nEducation & Experience Recommended\nBachelor/master’s degree in supply chain or math - related subject or Engineering\n4 - 7 years of experience in Supply Chain, Planning or other roles with strong analytical aspects are critical advantages\nFluency in English language\nKnowledge & Skills\nStrong Analytical & Math skills\nCritical thinking, ability to make judgement based on data and facts\nStrong Problem-solving skills\nOrganizational & Time management skills\nStrong communication skills to interact with suppliers, customers and other supply chain team members\nHigh attention to details\nAble to apply tools and technology to produce results\nAble to understand global business processes\nCore planning skills, Forecasting, inventory optimization, Procurement and Repair management\nKnowledge of Servigistics SPM and SAP is a +\nDisclaimer\nThis job description describes the general nature and level of work performed in this role.
