Serving as the primary operational interface between the business and suppliers, the SOM leads execution, resolves operational challenges, and drives continuous improvement to deliver business outcomes and financial targets.\nResponsibilities\nServe as the primary operational interface between the business and external suppliers, fostering strong partnerships and driving accountability for operational outcomes.\nDrive the execution of labor operations by ensuring supplier staffing, workforce planning, capacity management, and delivery activities align with business requirements and service commitments.\nOwn and monitor key operational metrics, analyzing performance trends, identifying risks, and driving corrective actions to achieve service, productivity, quality, and financial objectives.\nOwn the execution of Monthly Operational Reviews (MORs), leveraging operational metrics and business insights to drive supplier accountability, performance improvement, risk mitigation, and business outcomes.\nLead operational governance routines with suppliers, including MORs, performance reviews, business reviews, action plan tracking, and compliance monitoring.\nManage and coordinate operational escalations, working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and supplier partners to resolve issues, mitigate risks, and minimize business impact.\nPartner with suppliers to identify and implement process improvements, productivity initiatives, and operational efficiencies that enhance service delivery and business performance.\nEnsure adherence to contractual obligations, operational policies, workforce guidelines, and regulatory requirements across supplier operations.\nConduct business analysis to identify root causes of operational challenges and develop data-driven recommendations to improve performance, optimize labor investments, and improve operational outcomes.\nCollaborate with regional and global teams to support workforce strategies, supplier transitions, operational transformation initiatives, and continuous improvement programs.\nDrive operational rigor through effective planning, execution tracking, risk management, and governance processes to ensure consistent and predictable business outcomes.\nSupport financial management activities related to supplier operations, including productivity tracking, labor utilization, capacity planning, forecasting, and budget adherence.\nProvide operational leadership and guidance across supplier-facing initiatives, promoting a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.\nEducation & Experience Recommended\nFour-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.\nTypically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in service business management, delivery, solution architecting, business planning, or a related field.
