The Supply Chain Demand and Inventory Planner is responsible for a dedicated set of suppliers and items - balancing inventory service levels and inventory turns to maximize fulfillment and minimize delays using analysis from Excel, SAP Business One, Tableau, and Blue Ridge. The right candidate would develop the ability to analyze forecast trends with sales opportunities to apply to future item performance. The Supply Chain Demand and Inventory Planner would work closely with Category Management, Product Management, and Logistics Specialists as well as the Warehouse and Production teams daily.\nJOB RESPONSIBILITIES\nOwn the demand forecast for an assigned portfolio of suppliers and SKUs, using sales history, opportunity data, and market signal to drive monthly buy plan\nCommunicate daily with multiple suppliers for PO placement, on-time deliveries, forecasting, and capacity\nBuild and present daily, weekly, and monthly Excel reporting that drives purchasing and financial reviews.\no XLOOKUP/Index Matching\no Pivot tables\no Generating IF statements/formulas\nDevelop understanding of HexArmor product and product lifecycle to apply sound judgement when presented with purchasing decisions\nLead as needed on any necessary reporting or Supply Chain related tasks\nDaily operating in SAP & Blue Ridge MRP for inventory management and related functions\nMonthly product specific opportunity review with sales management to understand new business\nGenerate various reports using sales data and opportunity data to create functional forecasts\nCollaborate with sales, category managers, and distribution to communicate inventory outlook and build scenario plans for potential net new business.\nResearch and incorporate business intelligence that increases forecast accuracy\nDevelop inventory strategies on new and existing products across product lifecycle\nOversee the planning of inventory service levels to meet demand\nReview all demand for finished goods orders and production requirements and coordinate appropriate actions to supply customers in a timely manner\nReformatting of exports and importing into existing spreadsheets\nAnalyze and provide feedback to appropriate departments on material status for fulfilling customer demand\nPrepare and maintain relevant reports pertaining to the demand planning process\nDevelop, improve, monitor reporting processes and systems to align with continuous improvement goals\nMake recommendations to management regarding improvements in the supply chain and production planning processes to increase efficiencies, reduce costs, and improve delivery performance\nConfidently present strategic initiatives to business units and leadership\nOther duties as assigned\n EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE\nBS degree in Supply Chain preferred\n2-5 years of supply chain, purchasing or equivalent, preferred\n QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED\nMicrosoft Office - Excel\nSolid decision making and problem-solving skills\nAttention to detail\nStrong organizational skills\nExcellent written and oral communication skills\nRecognize and adapt to international/cultural norms\nHighly motivated and positive attitude\nAbility to excel in a fast pace work environment by setting priorities and handle multiple simultaneous requirements\nHexArmor is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
