Our mission is to provide the protection that makes this possible, for every worker, everywhere.\nSUMMARY\nWe are seeking a motivated Learning & Talent Intern to support employee learning, development, and talent initiatives at HexArmor. This role provides hands-on experience in learning program coordination, instructional design, learning technology, reporting, and employee development.\nThe intern will work closely with the HR team to support learning programs, improve the employee learning experience, and contribute to projects that strengthen how HexArmor develops its people.\nLOCATION\nOnsite at HexArmor Corporate Headquarters in Grand Rapids, Michigan (640 Leffingwell Ave. NE Grand Rapids, MI)\nSCHEDULE\nThis is a 14-week, full-time internship beginning May 17, 2027. Interns will work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, during our standard business hours of 8:30am to 5:00pm.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nSupport the coordination and administration of instructor-led, virtual, and online learning programs.\nAssist with scheduling, enrollment, communications, training materials, and learner support.\nHelp maintain and organize content within the Learning Management System (LMS).\nCreate and maintain basic learning reports and analyze participation and completion data.\nAssist with developing eLearning, presentations, job aids, microlearning, and other learning materials.\nSupport employee development, career development, and talent initiatives.\nResearch learning and talent development best practices and make recommendations.\nHelp create communications that promote learning opportunities and employee engagement.\nPartner with HR team members and business leaders on learning and development projects.\nSTRATEGIC PROJECT EXPOSURE\nThroughout the internship, the intern may have the opportunity to contribute to projects such as:\nLearning Pathways: Help develop role-based learning resources for employees and leaders.\nLMS Engagement: Analyze LMS usage and identify opportunities to improve participation.\nContent Modernization: Help convert existing training into more engaging digital resources.\nSkills & Competencies: Support research and mapping of skills and competencies for key roles.\nLearning Communications: Help promote learning opportunities and resources across the organization.\nWHAT YOU'LL GAIN\nHands-on experience in Learning & Development and Talent Management.\nExposure to instructional design and learning technology.\nExperience with learning analytics and reporting.\nOpportunities to contribute to employee development and talent initiatives.\nExperience working with HR professionals and business leaders on real-world projects.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nCurrently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Organizational Leadership, Instructional Design, Education, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.\nComfortable working with Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft 365.\nInterest in learning, employee development, and talent management.\nCreative and curious mindset with a willingness to learn new tools and technology.\nExperience creating presentations, training materials, or other content (preferred).\nFamiliarity with adult learning or instructional design principles (preferred).\nExperience with an LMS, Power BI, Canva, Articulate 360, or similar tools (preferred).\nCOMPENSATION\nCompetitive Hourly Wage\nEEOC/Accommodations/Drug Screen/Background Check\nHexArmor is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
