Become a part of the “strength within.”\nHexcel is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant for our Casablanca, Morocco location.\nThe selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:\nOversee and manage supplier accounting transactions, including recording supplier invoices, expense claims, and related journal entries in AX.\n\nVerify invoices against supporting documentation (purchase orders, receipts, delivery notes, contracts, and agreements) and ensure proper approvals before processing.\n\nPrepare and process supplier payments, record banking transactions, and manage intercompany (IC) netting activities.\n\nPerform vendor, customer, bank, and intercompany account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.\n\nAnalyze accounts and investigate accounting variances, exceptions, and outstanding balances to maintain accurate financial records.\n\nMonitor and follow up on missing invoices and unresolved supplier issues to ensure complete and accurate transaction processing.\n\nManage supplier relationships by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.\n\nMaintain organized filing and archiving of invoices, payment records, reconciliations, and supporting documentation in compliance with company requirements.\n\nPrepare incentive-related documentation and provide accounting, administrative, and operational support to the Finance Department as required.\n\nEnsure compliance with company policies, internal controls, applicable laws, and quality standards while performing all assigned duties and special projects within established deadlines.\n\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.\n\n2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, General Accounting, or Finance operations.\n\nExperience working with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics AX or similar accounting software.\n\nStrong knowledge of accounting principles, accounts payable processes, bank reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.\n\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, with strong analytical and reporting skills.\n\nExcellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.\n\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills, with proficiency in English; French and Arabic are considered an asset.\n\nCandidates must be eligible to work in the country where the position is based.
