Become a part of the “strength within.”\nHexcel is currently seeking an Aero Excellence Deployment Leader for our Duxford, UK location.\nThe selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:\nLead deployment of the Aero Excellence framework at site level to achieve bronze certification.\nConduct maturity assessments, identify gaps, and define improvement roadmaps. \nDrive execution and monitoring of Aero Excellence action plans. \nTrack and report progress, KPIs, and maturity status. \nEnsure alignment and benchmarking with other sites to share best practice. \nLead and coordinate cross-functional teams to embed operational excellence. \nPromote structured methodologies (Lean, 8D, FMEA, APQP) across the site. \nSupport resolution of quality issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions. \nImprove customer performance and reduce internal non-conformities. \nAct as a change agent to drive a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. \nQualifications:\nStrong knowledge of continuous improvement and operational excellence frameworks.\nProficiency in structured problem-solving tools (8D, FMEA, APQP, root cause analysis). \nExperience in quality and/or continuous improvement within manufacturing or aerospace. \nUnderstanding of maturity models, audits, and certification processes. \nStrong analytical and structured problem-solving capability. \nAbility to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders. \nEffective communication skills across shop floor and leadership levels. \nResults-driven with strong execution and accountability. \nDegree in Engineering or a related technical discipline. \nFamiliarity with aerospace standards (e.g. EN/AS9100) and multi-site environments.\nCandidates must be eligible to work in the country where the position is based.
