Become a part of the “strength within.”\nHexcel is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op for our Pottsville, USA location.\nThe selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:\n· Create and develop processes and tools to assist in the fabrication of composite honeycomb details, sub-assemblies, and assemblies.\n· Coordinate tooling fabrication to Hexcel standards with both internal and external suppliers.\n· Be an active member of continuous improvement team to meet the plant’s production and quality goals.\n· Demonstrate the ability to cooperate, work and communicate with co-workers, supervisors and subordinates and/or outside contacts and customers.\n· Perform problem solving and data gathering activities supporting DCR/MRR (Document Change Request/Material Rejection Report) resolution.\n· Revise and generate process sketches using AutoCAD.\n· Develop and perform process trials and analyze the results while working closely with our production operators.\n· Must be comfortable working directly with manufacturing personnel in our production environment.\n· Assist Process Engineering in supporting manufacturing operations as directed.\n· Comply with Hexcel Pottsville’s Actively Caring Safety Program and Quality Management System at all times.\n· Comply with Hexcel policies, procedures and Code of Business Conduct.\nQualifications:\n· Field of study: mechanical or manufacturing engineering or related fields.\n· Previous experience in fast-paced, competitive engineering and manufacturing environment a plus.\n· Solid PC and AutoCAD skills preferred.\n· Solid verbal and written communication skills are required.\n· Candidate must have ability to define problems and interpret a variety of technical instructions.\n· Must have solid organizational skills and be able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.\nEligible candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, a person lawfully admitted for permanent residence, a temporary resident under sections 210(a) or 245(A) of the Act, a person admitted in refugee status, a person granted asylum.
