Become a part of the “strength within.”\nHexcel is currently seeking a Facilities Engineer for our Casa Grande, AZ, USA location. The successful candidate will manage facility projects, provide engineering support, oversee contractors, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that support plant operations and reliability.\nThe selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:\nManage capital and expense projects from concept through commissioning, including new installations and upgrades to existing systems.\nProvide engineering support for facility and utility systems including HVAC, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, compressed air, fire protection, and environmental control systems.\nTroubleshoot facility and utility system issues using engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.\nEnsure the reliable operation and maintenance of site infrastructure including electrical distribution, HVAC systems, fire suppression systems, roofs, roads, parking lots, and compressed air systems.\nProvide technical support and engineering expertise to maintenance and manufacturing operations.\nManage facility service contractors and vendors, including HVAC, fire protection, pest control, roofing, electrical, plumbing, waste management, and landscaping contractors.\nCoordinate with utility providers for electrical, gas, water, wastewater, and telecommunications services.\nDevelop scopes of work, obtain bids, oversee contractor safety and performance, and manage service contracts.\nSupport reliability improvement initiatives, root cause analysis efforts, and preventive maintenance programs.\nMaintain facility engineering documents, drawings, and records in accordance with company standards.\nEnsure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree preferred. Preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial, Facilities Engineering, or a related technical discipline.\nMinimum 3 years of facilities engineering, utilities engineering, maintenance engineering, or project management experience in a manufacturing environment.\nDemonstrated experience managing facility infrastructure projects and external contractors.\nKnowledge of industrial utility systems and facility equipment.\nProficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project.\nStrong project management, communication, troubleshooting, and organizational skills.\nThe following are preferred qualifications: Experience with CMMS systems (Limble, Maximo, Fiix, or equivalent), experience with reliability engineering and root cause analysis, familiarity with AutoCAD and engineering drawing management, experience with Lean, Six Sigma, EIT.
