Become a part of the “strength within.”\nHexcel is currently seeking a Janitor for our Kent, WA USA location.\nSummary pay range: $20.00 - $25.56 hourly wage rate.\nThe selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:\nGeneral cleaning of restrooms and all fixtures, cleaning of lunchrooms, office areas, shop areas and outside grounds. Includes dusting, use of cleaning chemicals, wet and dry mops, vacuum cleaners, floor scrubber, emptying of trash containers and transport trash and waste to disposal area etc.\nCarpet cleaning and stripping, scrubbing, and waxing of floors and aisle ways and other work areas.\nWashes windows, door panels, and sills.\nMaintain cleaning materials inventory. Replenishes bathroom supplies.\nReport spills and leaks immediately.\nProactively support and comply with the Safety & Environmental Management Systems requirements. Support safety & environmental initiatives; walk through audits, training, communications, and incident investigations. \nWilling and able to use proper safety equipment and wear all personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with company policies and procedures. \nOccasional painting throughout the facility.\nWorking over the Holiday shutdown and a rotational weekend duty coverage.\nChanging light bulbs where reachable with only a ladder.\nQualifications:\nHigh school diploma or GED, a copy of which may be required if Hexcel is unable to verify attainment of the degree.\nLimited cleaning experience needed, with the desire to learn and do. Experience working in industrial cleaning is highly preferred.\nMust be trained or willing to be trained in handling and clean-up of blood-borne pathogens. Janitorial personnel are first responders for cleaning up blood.\nMust be able to work with computers, chemicals, sealants, paints, and cleaners on a regular basis. \nAble to work all shifts.\nA post-offer drug test and physical is required.\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; have manual dexterity; and reach with hands and arms.
