Become a part of the “strength within.”\nHexcel is currently seeking a Non-CDL Driver/Material Packaging for our Amesbury, MA location.\nPay Range: $21.50 - $26.50 per hour\nThe selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:\nDeliver items to various locations • Safely load and unload goods from the delivery vehicle, ensuring items are secure during transport.\nVerify recipient details upon delivery and obtain signatures for proof of delivery as well as maintain delivery logs and records.\nInspect the delivery vehicle for mechanical issues and ensure it is clean and safe for operation.\nAddress any issues or complaints that arise during the delivery process, such as damaged goods or delays\nResponsible for storing incoming goods, releasing goods from storage, and loading goods for transport.\nPerforms common Warehouse tasks, cleaning, safety checks on equipment, etc.\nStage material appropriately in preparation of loading and shipping for final delivery and maintaining the stock levels of packaging materials.\nActive participation in cycle counting and physical inventory processes.\nConduct duties in a manner that promotes safety and complies with all OSHA standards.\nFinal packaging and labeling of finished products ready to ship.\nQualifications:\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent, required.\nPrevious experience in driving a box truck preferred.\nMust have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record\nAbility to manage time effectively and adhere to delivery schedules\nCapability to lift to 50 lbs. and carry heavy items as needed.\nAbility to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods of time.\nMust have good attention to detail.\nForklift experience preferred\nAbility to pass a DOT physical\nMust be able to obtain a DOD security clearance\nThis position is restricted to U.S. citizens due to U.S. federal government contracts that require the employment of only persons who are U.S. citizens.
