Become a part of the “strength within.\"\nARC Technologies LLC, a Hexcel company, is the leading manufacturer of radio frequency (RF) and electromagnetic interference (EMI) absorbing materials for defense and wireless applications worldwide and part of Hexcel, a global leader in advanced composites technology.\nHexcel is currently seeking a Painter Technician I- Advanced Materials\nHours: 1:00pm - 11:30pm M-F\nPay Range: $23.60 - $27.87\n\nResponsibilities:\nPerforms all duties associated with paint preparation and secondary operations.\nMaintains and operates painting equipment.\nConsistently achieves productivity and quality expectations within assigned work cell.\nIn process quality control of products using measuring devices.\nMaintain electronic and written production records to maintain production order tracking, material traceability and consumption. Responsible for accurate and timely completion of cycle counts.\nHigh attention to FOD (Foreign Object Debris) control and prevention.\nProactively participate in our safety-first culture.\nQualifications:\nHigh School diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent\nAbility to read and understand part drawings\nAbility to follow internal and external specifications and work instructions\nKnowledge of technical requirements for spray equipment, mixing ratios and measuring devices\nAbility to troubleshoot and diagnose technical problems with spray equipment and application of paint and primer\nPrior automotive or aerospace painting is a plus\nAbility to move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. \nAbility to work in a fast paced environment and basic computer knowledge\nFollow all safety policies and procedures, including but not limited to adherence to PPE requirements, compliant handling of chemicals, and safe ergonomic practices\n Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Security Clearance\nThis position is restricted to U.S. citizens due to U.S. federal government contracts that require the employment of only persons who are U.S. citizens.
