Assume full responsibility for managing process conditions to meet Process Control Document requirements and mechanical and physical properties\nTroubleshoot manufacturing process problems and implement corrective measures.\nEvaluate and provide costing support for new and existing products.\nCreate/manage bills of materials and process plans for multiple resin manufacturing processes to support operations.\nDevelop and implement processing conditions.\nProvide training as necessary to operations personnel.\nDevelop and execute continuous improvement plans and processes.\nWrite and maintain detailed procedures and specifications.\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s of Science degree in any of the following: Plastics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, Materials Science, Materials Engineering, or Polymer Chemistry.\n1-3 years of industry experience in a manufacturing or product development environment\nAbility to evaluate, develop and manage process parameters in the manufacture of products.\nHigh attention to detail.\nMust be able to obtain a DOD security clearance.\nCurrent computer literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.\nDesired Qualifications\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills. Motivated self-starter\nExperience in Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma continuous improvement programs. Green belt certification is a plus.\nKnowledge of CAD software; (Solid Works, Solid Edge, Master Cam).\nComplete salary range for this role: $80,000 - $115,000\nAt Hexcel, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
