If you have integrity, accountability, a willingness to explore new ideas, and a desire to succeed, then ARC Technologies is the place for you.\nBenefits\nIn addition to competitive medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance and robust paid time off, we offer the following:\nHexcel 401k with company matching contribution\nEmployee stock purchase program\nQuarterly bonus potential\nProfit Sharing Program\nPaid Parental Leave\nEducational Assistance Program\nPrepaid group legal plan\nHexcel is currently seeking a Quality Technician (1st Shift) for ourAmesbury, MA location.\nThe selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:\nUse established sampling plans to perform inspection of incoming, in-process and finished product and documentation to verify conformity.\nDetermine methodology and set up of measuring equipment / fixtures to properly measure dimensions, angles, profiles, configuration attributes and visual requirements.\nComplete inspection / test documentation / reports with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency in accordance with both customer contract and ARC’s quality requirements.\nPerform First Article Inspection planning and complete FAI Reports per the AS9102 Standard\nHelp prepare product and documentation for source inspections as required.\nInterpret engineered drawings, formulas, production work orders, procedures, instructions and specifications to complete the applicable inspection and documentation requirements.\nConfer with management and engineering to clarify and determine quality standards and requirements.\nWork cross functionally to understand and communicate the status of quality related activities and help prioritize work.\nWork cross functionally to assist in problem solving and root cause analysis on nonconformities.\nRecommend and help implement modifications to existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability.\nRecord and communicate discrepancies found in product quality and documentation to the Product Engineers, and Management where applicable.\nPrepare CoC and CoA documents in accordance requirements.\nQualifications:\nHigh school diploma or GED\n0-3 years of Quality related work experience.\nMust be able to interpret engineered drawings.\nPossess strong hands-on ability, competent in mechanical set-up and the use of various measuring devices/equipment; such as, calipers, micrometers, height gages, radius gages, and optical measurement systems.\nOrganized and detail oriented to ensure accuracy and completeness of work.\nAffinity for documentation with a mindset for thoroughness and accuracy.\nProfessional communication skills both written and verbal to address internal and external customer issues / requirements.\nProven ability to work independently with limited supervision, while keeping management informed.\nStrong sense of urgency and responsiveness to ensure commitments are met.\nPrevious experience in an ISO 9001 / AS9100 facility is a plus.\nExperienced with MS office tools (Word and Excel)\nMust be able to obtain and maintain a DOD Clearance\nPay Range: $23.37-$27.63\nThis position is restricted to U.S. citizens due to U.S. federal government contracts that require the employment of only persons who are U.S. citizens.
