Become a part of the “strength within.”\nHexcel is currently seeking a Senior HR Manager for our Stamford location. We offer a hybrid work environment (typically, 3 days in the office, 2 days at home).\nThis position will support the Legal, Finance and Human Resources functions and will also serve as the HR Manager for the Stamford Corporate site. The Senior HR Manager will operate as a strategic advisor to functional and site leadership, translate business priorities into integrated people strategies and lead the delivery of HR programs and solutions that strengthen organizational capability, workforce effectiveness and employee engagement.\nThe selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:\nAct as the senior HR partner to Legal, Finance and Human Resources leaders, shaping and executing people strategies aligned with functional priorities and enterprise objectives. \nServe as the HR Manager for the Stamford site, establishing HR priorities and providing leadership for employee relations, workforce planning, talent management, engagement and site initiatives. \nAdvise senior leaders on complex organizational matters, including operating-model effectiveness, organizational design, succession planning, workforce capability and change management. \nLead the resolution of complex and sensitive employee relations matters, including workplace investigations, risk assessment and consistent application of employment practices and company policies. \nDrive integrated talent strategies for the supported functions and Stamford site, including leadership assessment, succession planning, development, performance management and retention of key talent. \nUse workforce data, business insights and sound judgment to identify organizational risks, recommend actions and measure the effectiveness of HR strategies and programs. \nPartner with Talent Acquisition and business leaders to anticipate workforce requirements and implement recruiting, selection, onboarding and internal-mobility strategies. \nPartner with Total Rewards to advise leaders on compensation and benefit decisions that support internal equity, external competitiveness and business priorities. \nCoach senior leaders and managers to strengthen leadership effectiveness, navigate organizational change and address performance and talent challenges. \nInfluence and collaborate across Corporate HR and other functions to implement enterprise programs, improve HR processes and ensure consistent, compliant and effective execution. \nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or a related field required; SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred. \nMinimum eight years of progressive HR experience, including at least five years in an HR leadership or management role. \nExperience serving as a strategic HR business partner to corporate functions and leading HR delivery for a site or defined employee population. \nWorking knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws and regulations, with experience managing complex employee relations matters and workplace investigations. \nDemonstrated ability to advise senior leaders, assess organizational needs and translate business priorities into practical people strategies. \nExperience leading organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, talent management and change initiatives. \nProven leadership, coaching and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to influence decisions across levels and functions. \nDemonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with experience using workforce data and business insights to develop recommendations and evaluate outcomes. \nProficiency with Microsoft Office and HR information systems; Workday experience preferred. \nAbility to travel when necessary (up to 20%).\nEligible candidates must be a: U.S. citizen, U.S. national, person lawfully admitted for permanent residence, temporary resident under sections 210(a) or 245(A) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, person admitted in refugee status, or person granted asylum.
